News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

Yes. In Taiwan for 2 years now from SF and it's amazing. I like to visit around Asia but this is most livable by far. Plus it's really underated so it's a bit under the radar which I think is a good kpi for remote centric work.

Agreed on cons, it's so good it softens you which is an overindulgence if efficiency problem.

Agreed startup scene is hurting. Ironically amazing for hiring and even in high tech. Taida is a serious school and companies like TSMC are here so serious engineering gets done. Ifni was in hardware I'd look to here as a black sheep vs shenzen.

Say hi if in Taipei!

Not to mention zero new local cases a month now! Enjoying restaurants and life daily :). Shhh don't share about Taiwan

Was it anonymous? Who would want to notify their employer their intent to go remote? Especially a survey that could be to see whos against it.

Is there a form of card counting for sports betting that produces results
As a big seller, yes that's the goal. Off all platforms and own your own stack. Be able to email retarget call text and shopify and click funnels allow this. None of these should be growing as they all are closed in a sense. Your own store and 3pl is the growth trend and for good reasons.

One could argue lack of experience is a positive kpi for politicians
Re:I Spent $6M on Google Ads Last Year on Monday April 27, 2020 @02:10PM (#22998329)
Ab test say 20 creative in an adset and let Facebook find the best creative for you in a cbo. Once set it is set and best not to change the creative just launch a new ad set with the new creative. You can change it but not ideal or how you should run Facebook ads with a proper account structure to maintain data transparency. Also with Facebook algo suspending and disabling ad accounts like crazy swapping creative after approved looks very fishy and can trigger negativr signals.

Did you use an advertorial or a webinar to properly whet their appetite so that any task even beyond installing would have been begged for by them?

The best part of "blood in the streets" is old school hacker news posts like this. Kpi of creative progress to come!
Here in Taiwan now just had some delicious bittermelon and pork rib soup after a gym session. All had hand sanitizer at the door and temperature checks and all wear mouth masks. Really impressive what they've done here. Feels safe and relatively normal. American here and staying safe in Taiwan till this blows over. It's funny people say be safe in Asia but I fell a lot safer then in USA!

Well pushback is a negative or unfavourable reaction or response.

If I'm absolutely wrong you then hope meditation gets unfavourable reactions or responses? Curious why you think what most would consider a positive and healthy thing as worthy of pushback? What does meditation do to deserve this pushback?

Re:Study suggests daily meditation slows brain aging on Monday March 23, 2020 @01:39PM (#22666501)
Hope meditation never gets any sort of pushback as it is so maleable and should be embraced and not sublabeled.
Re:The Only Type of API Services I'll Use on Wednesday March 04, 2020 @10:43AM (#22484664)
There usually are different Ali suppliers that are either more b2c or b2b focused and offer variable balance between free to cheap single user upwards to enterprise. APIs are priced similiarly.

Also utility is physically providing wherein the distribution of an api is already existant.

Well when China takes over the US, and they implement their personal credit score here, they'll already have the profiles for the database!
