Re:Deno Is Joining Cloudflare on Sunday October 11, 2026 @11:37AM (#50044429)
speak for yourself, big release literally just yesterday.
ye parakeet redux has been my new fav, that and tdt v2 both working well for my own clone app that was made.
the very notion that everything has to be 'impressive' to you is ridiculous. You still don't understand the era of personal software and everything has to be a windows replacement or it wasn't worth building to you? I'm making my own azure blob storage explorer, notes mac/android, db client etc.. its not about being 'impressive' but being personally suited to individual needs.
Re:DeepSeek Harness Desktop for macOS and Windows on Friday October 02, 2026 @12:47AM (#49929931)

Re:Steam Frame starts at $1059 on Monday September 14, 2026 @07:46PM (#49705810)
Just increase size/scaling of everything I guess right?
Re:Ok, but Does It Scale? on Friday September 04, 2026 @10:58AM (#49565619)
Plus the hundreds of other users doing exactly the same thing, building games, tools, products with stdb which has been really cool to see. It's super cool tech imo. I made an obsidian sync plugin with it which was neat.
Re:New Mac mini, featuring M6 and M5 Pro on Wednesday August 26, 2026 @05:04AM (#49445938)
I did also watch theos video on this and wonder if apple could be improving things for the agentic era.
Re:New Mac mini, featuring M6 and M5 Pro on Wednesday August 26, 2026 @04:46AM (#49445779)
more like %1000 for some components.
You mean the typically most oppressed minorities these days, given that you people freak out about these people constantly?
What about use case for replacing regex? I.e "random formatted title.extension" - extract the title or some tag or something for more dynamic string manipulation for pulling structured data out of strings efficiently and more simply than regex provides?
You may want to reword that.. what do you think 0 confidence means... ?

Re:Kimi K3 is now live on Friday July 17, 2026 @10:28AM (#48947795)
Does that not prove this test should be well burried by now?
Re:Kimi K3 is now live on Friday July 17, 2026 @09:28AM (#48947154)
The cost there is multiple rounds of review tokens making it both slow and expensive.
Re:Bonsai 27B: A 27B-Class Model that runs on a phone on Tuesday July 14, 2026 @10:00PM (#48915374)
But isn't it running basically 1 request at a time? This would make agentic coding difficult right? Compared to running as many sequential tests as you want via api?
Re:Telegram's t.me domain has been suspended on Tuesday July 14, 2026 @01:27AM (#48902622)
wait until you hear why, and that you can optionally use e2e but lose other functionality.
Because the two sets of skills aren't related. Library and design work are not the same thing. That's why

roughly ~50–56GB, although this is somewhat configurable with iogpu.wired_limit_mb. By default, macOS reserves ~25% of memory for the system.
Re:Previewing GPT‑5.6 Sol: a next-generation model on Friday June 26, 2026 @09:58PM (#48694409)
There are none. People forget the other side wanted to shut down research entirely, not just release. No idea why people think the other side would have been any better, it would have been even worse. On top of that, anthropic got exactly what they wanted.
Re:Previewing GPT‑5.6 Sol: a next-generation model on Friday June 26, 2026 @09:44PM (#48694349)
No anything but wasteful, weak, expensive, environmentally harmful solar. Nuclear is the only path forward for superior energy production, at least until we figure out fusion.
