Do these contain readable data?
You'll have the last laugh when the bubble finally bursts.

Re:Domain hacks with unusual Unicode characters (2018) on Sunday November 01, 2026 @01:05PM (#50328004)
Python 3 encodes the domain to xn--hkr-zdyy2ssn00g.mobi.

This just shows the command line was badly designed to begin with.

If CLI programs received already-opened file handles instead of pathname strings, most programs would have no need to have the concept of a "current directory" at all. It could be something purely internal to the command-line shell.

It would also be more fitting for a capability-based OS instead of one where every program has an ambient permission to access anything in the whole file system.

Why not both?

How entitled must one be to assume they are owed a page in Wikipedia?

Why?

Re:Is this the new cyber normal? on Saturday October 24, 2026 @04:14AM (#50219206)
Because restaurants don't want businesses like DoorFash to scrape it.
Re:Is this the new cyber normal? on Saturday October 24, 2026 @04:02AM (#50219150)

It's cute when Americans assume every country's constitution is the same as their own.

"Just lost another bug."

"It never gets any easier, huh?"
