Au contraire, if network users control their clients, they can "block"¹ and "follow" content at-the client level without stating it publicly.
¹. Not a full block, as the blockee can still read and interact with the blocker's posts.
"Due to 27 different regulations in the EU alone (and more in other non-EU-countries), the administrative burden for international e-commerce is huge. Other than packaging regulations in many countries, WEEE regulations do typically not have any minimum thresholds or exceptions for SMEs. Therefore, WEEE registration and recycling fees are required in every country (separately – even within the EU) when shipping internationally. This also goes for startups and small stores which have just started selling electronics in Europe. (The laws even apply before the first sale is made.)"
It's an online service. It has features to extract the whole story from the source website, and to automatically filter feed items according to title, author, tags etc. There are android and iOS apps available; at least the Android one is opensource.
One can self-host it, but at $36/year it's almost worth it paying the author to avoid the hassle.
It is also a matter of risk management: assuming that two doses always create stronger immunity than one dose, it's better to do a successful Phase 3 trial with two doses and "miss out" on getting approval for a one-dose course, rather than aim for a one-shot vaccine, and risk the response being too small to get any approval at all.
Also, if the drug is successful in the market, Glaxo can do another trial to show that 1 dose is not inferior to 2 doses, and get a patent extension for the new formulation.
P.S.: What's with the hashes?
¹. It seems to also be used in Spanish, but mostly in an American context as a calque from English.

Another explanation would be the dispute with Morocco about Perejil Island:

Or even the dispute regarding Gibraltar with Britain.
For each of the larger, non-monthly expenditures (travel, quarterly/yearly bills, furniture, electronics) I have virtual accounts in which I put money every month, and take it out when the expense comes, so as to keep the balance of the month at zero. I allow these virtual accounts to go negative, but not often and not for long.
I have a "tab" for shared household expenses; 50% of each shared expense is credited or deducted from the "tab", depending on who paid. This 50% doesn't affect my monthly balance. My partner does his own accounting (i.e. none).
If the months balance is trending positive, I can either increase the daily allocation for the rest of the month, move some to investment, or save more towards a large expenditure.
If the months balance is trending negative, I can decrease the daily allocation for the rest of the month, or save less for future expenditures (which I then have to reduce).
I make the budget of the following month based on what I learned from the previos one(s), and a script that calculates how much money to put into accounts for future expenditures.
Furthermore, when these cooperatives are built, a big part of the cost is covered with debt that is left within the association itself, and covered with a monthly fee. So the amount of leverage is even larger than that of the mortgage, and thus very sensitive to interest rate changes. Also, this monthly fee is usually set to an unsustainably low value for the first year to attract buyers, which makes the future cost of ownership even more unpredictable.
Of course, no one cares about all this since (i) renting is often not an option, as waiting times for a rental contract in big cities are 3-15 years, and (ii) house prices are rising, so the appreciation of the shares will handsomely cover all the interest payments until resale.

The Chargie will certainly be useful for the many people who don't want to/can't root their phones. But it's also sad that one needs an extra piece of hardware for something that the phone can technically already accomplish on its own.
