Lol, can you add a "both of these are terrible" option?
Author of the article here - thanks for posting!

Was an interesting journey to developing this. We kept getting demands for blurring but didn't implement it for a long time because we knew blurring wasn't secure. We implemented masking via black rectangles, but kept getting requests for blurring. Was great to finally land on this solution.

There’s also clojuredart to do a dart / flutter app. I’ve been working on one, and it’s been pretty pleasant to work on.

Like the explanation a lot. Even when you've understood redux, and want to use, the amount of upfront boilerplate can be a turn off. I liked this approach of parsing out the boilerplate piece by piece.

Also, Clojurescript.
Would be great to note this somewhere on the component kit site.
The blog posts from Chroma.js https://vis4.net/blog/posts/avoid-equidistant-hsv-colors/ https://vis4.net/blog/posts/mastering-multi-hued-color-scale... are really nice, and help you figure out how to use Chroma.js (and the LAB color scheme). Nice work!

RE: line 6400 vs. line 20, check out Source Maps: https://github.com/clojure/clojurescript/wiki/Source-maps

Once you have these working, errors are linked to line 20 of hte code you are writing.

Some interesting work in this area has also been done by Jay Chen: http://cs.nyu.edu/~jchen/

Hi, I'm also from SEL. In addition to some of our work (which is generally about shared solar), some interesting companies that are thinking about (and providing their own solutions to) the financing question are http://www.selco-india.com/ and http://simpanetworks.com/ Not endorsing their work necessarily, but worth a look at, for someone interested in this stuff.
Re:Ask HN: Who is hiring? (February 2014) on Monday February 03, 2014 @12:39AM (#7169047)
Tired of the startup goose chase? Change the world for real in 2014.

Work on projects involving solar power, hardware controller software, data science, and mobile apps which really are life-changing [1] at the Sustainable Engineering Lab at Columbia [2].

You'll be joining a like-minded peer group of hackers working in python, R, go, mongodb, nodejs, and other technologies.

There are no sales/MBA types, no scrum masters, and we strongly disapprove of code written in Enterprise FizzBuzz style[3].

Deets here: https://github.com/SEL-Columbia/jobs

[1] Three current projects: data-driven local planning project in Nigeria, infrastructure planning project for Myanmar and remote islands in Indonesia, building an Android app for rural nurses in India. New York: senior software dev, javascript nija, more.

What we do: build cutting edge web software to solve problems in the developing world. Think its bad to be in New York and not have electricity for a week? We work on electrification software to help national governments pull in electricity to those who've never had it. Thats an example of where it starts.

More at http://github.com/modilabs/jobs (yeah, old school, we know).
