Thanks for that first link, was finally able to root my B4, took less than 10 minutes.
I am fiending for an invite to Rex. I hope I can use it to replace my Paseo workflow!
You forgot the “what’s new” popup every time you launch the app
60hz is the reason i sold mine. Otherwise I loved that little ipad
AI is simply an if/else statement in disguise, you didn’t know that?
Saw it this morning, this video is a goldmine of ideas on how to build agent harnesses and benchmark them.
That is a really good idea, in fact I’m doing something similar. I am charging anyone reading this comment 100 bucks per letter read, please tell me who I should send the bill to.
I had a good trick for this when I was a minor! I just lied about my age to the HTML birthdate input…
What a whiny blog, just press the dictation button on your keyboard to have direct dictation capabilities without any rewriting. If you don't want this AI-based rewriting, just don't use it.
You can see it as fragmentation, or you can look at it as having a choice. You can pick and choose how you access your data, without any corporation screwing you over the first chance they get.
Not desktop only, KeePass uses an encrypted file, all you need is a way to decrypt it. You can store it in iCloud or whatever you like to sync files between devices.
iOS has a good open source app KeeForge to open the encryped password files. I use SyncTrain on my phone to connect to my SyncThing network.
KeepAssXC + SyncThing works well if you don't mind tinkering and like independence from corporations
Otherwise 1Password if you like paying money
The main usecase for an average developer is preventing confused agents making mistakes like removing sensitive folders, resetting git branches or using API tokens they shouldn't be using
No, it does not say that. It says you can connect MCPs to the built-in assistant, rather than using your own assistant + mail client MCP.
You can authenticate with your alias as well
He’s saying good looking GUIs are for plebian Mac users, you should use his vibeslopped TUI instead, like a real Linux user
“With AI” means they have a built-in assistant (which no one wants), rather than exposing the functionality through MCP.
For years people have been begging Apple to make Siri respond to basic requests, and Siri could not do it. Now the technology that allows them to fix Siri is handed to them on a silver platter, yet they still mess it up.
You can’t assume that though, Apple Intelligence is not supported on everyone’s computer
Debit card transactions still work
Offload the work of an LLM agent to a box in the cloud, so it doesn’t run on your laptop. This has security benefits (no access to your laptop’s files) and you can scale it up (run a lot of agents at the same time).
Then put a “sandbox” around these agents, that word has many meanings. In this case they fence the network traffic, so likely some kind of allowlist for network requests so that the agent doesn’t exfil crap to random websites. They also limit the resource limits of the sandbox, so that is beneficial to the cost of running these agents.
We are all being disinformed, whether it's by a foreign or our own government. This is not a problem unique to Europe, right-wingers, farmers or Russia. The goal is to have us fight while the powerful become even more powerful. It is important to be aware of this fact, it is not just "the other side I don't agree with" that are affected, and thinking of them as willfully ignorant or incompetent is what the powerful would like you to think (infighting is the goal).
You are right in the sense that there is likely an underlying meddling causing these farmers to act this way. It does not excuse their actions.
Likely organized by farmer protest groups (FDF for example) to protest against emission restriction regulation. They are known for their dangerous stunts, including driving their tractors on the highway and spraying manure on government buildings. These actions are tolerated by the Dutch police, which willingly and purposefully refuses to punish these acts.
