Re:FTC Probing Facebook for Use of Personal Data, Source Says

It's the obvious malicious intent that we see time and time again with Facebook, the companies they own, and like-minded companies like Google and Amazon. People are fed up with the BS. It's atrocious that no tech people speak out or get the airtime to inform people what's going on without their knowledge (and most of the time, consent). Facebook is a scourge to humanity.

Do you realize Facebook has the power to change this all, but instead keeps people misinformed with their obvious malicious intent?

Because it's apparent that's not Facebook's goal.

Funny how they're adament that Facebook doesn't utilize microphone (while they still don't really know themselves). Why is it laughable that Facebook is using both the FB Pixel, microphone, and other technologies to spy?

Anybody else worried/cautious about giving a company even more data about one's location, driving habits, etc. (also, without that company sharing that data with the user whose data it is) - also, knowing that the company is truly in control of the vehicle?
I'm all for renewable energy and electric vehicles, but it could be done without selling the user.
