We should definitely be fearful of Trump. The only good thing that can come from this is that he will take full blame, but people will finally realize how corrupt we have become. I doubt that will happen though, because I'm sure the other half is brainwashed to think the Democrats can do no harm either.
Re:YouTube Community goes beyond video

Play store has had the same issue for years, and there really isn't an alternative either. You can try to diversify, but nothing compares to the android crowd due to low, low cost devices. Google doesn't want to pay for decent support for something making them a ton of money, why would they do it for YouTube? You're stuck. Play the game and play it well.
Re:Wal-Mart in Talks to Buy Web Retailer Jet.com for $3B

Walmart has been offering 3rd party sellers/products for more than a few months now, if I had to guess. I bought a USB cable from Cable Matters, but the names of some of the companies/sellers on Walmart's website also lead me to believe they are selling products which aren't certified and have the correct components to be safe with our devices.

New York seems in the range I thought it would. Bonuses and stock aren't factored in, as someone mentioned. I imagine they might not over that type of thing, though.

Mid-2012 MBP with 2.5 Ghz i5, 4GB ram here. I thought Mavericks sped it up, but Yosemite is unnoticeable. I couldn't tell you if it is faster or slower than when I bought it, to be honest. All the problems people mention in the thread, I'm somewhat surprised by. I guess I'm lucky enough to not have wifi issues, rely on iTunes, or Apple Music.
Re:Microsoft pulls in $1.35B in revenue for Surface line
on Friday January 29, 2016 @12:14PM (#10996570)
It's a bit subjective since one company had huge market share out of the gate and invented the category, while the other keeps releasing 'new' products, years later. So yes, there's growth for now. For Wall Street, growth is pretty much key.

They spec'd the Surface Book to match up with a MacBook Pro, but I honestly don't think the quality is there.

Not if you witnessed the mediocre quality. I've had no problem with streaming services but, so yahoo must have had issues with the 15m.

They spend a ton on data centers and talent. Last quarter there was no user growth and profit per share was 7 cents. Shareholders definitely don't agree with you about this.

Sorry about that. I must have looked at ACAT - Outgoing for some reason, believing it was ACH.

They take a pretty good fee to withdraw money. I'm not sure that would be a decent part of their revenue, though.

I give it 4/5 stars due to the over-dramatization. 80% of the room leaving because they never ran a successful command seems far fetched.

Critical type here. There's something missing from his review. The company seems to fire people on the spot for little mistakes, from what I've read above. There has to be a lot more dirt, he just hasn't encountered yet.

Re:Google Domains Launches to All in U.S
on Tuesday January 13, 2015 @03:31PM (#8882396)
It's not compelling, it just fills the gap, as mentioned. It gives them more info to adjust their search algorithms and weed out bad apples imo. Now they know who has registered even private domains. Make an inadvertent "bad move" on one domain/site, and they will be killing traffic to everything you own.

Re:How HoursTracker earns five figures a month on the App Store

I think the key is finding a unique niche with only a few competitors in the store. If not, you will get lost among a few hundred similar apps., even if yours is better. Marketing $$ might help overcome, though. I haven't tested trying to push up a bottom dweller.

Re:Letter to Amazon Board from Fired Ad Exec

Amazon should be smart enough to know they can't put in a clause that's too far-reaching and preventing people from working anywhere in the world. I view it as more or less of a threat and nothing more. They wouldn't come after you if you walked across the street to Microsoft, Yahoo, or Apple. It happens all of the time.

Full of himself, b.s. trader can't even make a blog title correctly. No wonder he lost thousands of dollars by accident, then couldn't even finish the last 3/4 of his story. Not to mention leaving out the most interesting part.

Can you imagine going to the beach and hearing someone using a blender every 15 minutes!
I read about this sort of thing the other day. You always hear about the few successes and people who struck it rich. They kept trying and never gave up, but you never hear about the 10 million other failures. People ruin their lives trying to fulfill dreams or ideas that weren't worth pursuing from the beginning and pay dearly for it. Empty bank accounts, ruined credit, relationships, etc.
