Re:Apple introduces the new 14‑inch MacBook Pro with M6 on Tuesday October 27, 2026 @05:29PM (#50266106)
I don't actually want a MacBook at all, I was just joking.

Dystopian shit.
Re:Today, we hacked what we'd set out to hack: the iPhone on Saturday October 24, 2026 @06:30AM (#50219900)
This gave me warm fuzzy feelings of nostalgia. Jailbreaking my iPod touch back in the day was so fun before there was anything serious on these devices.

That's such an AI bro take
Re:The Copilot+ PC brand is dead on Monday September 28, 2026 @01:25AM (#49873980)
You can use autohotkey (which you shouldn't have to but here we are)
Re:AI-generated posters don’t have to be horrible on Saturday September 19, 2026 @04:46PM (#49769992)
You're acting like a fucking asshole
Re:AI-generated posters don’t have to be horrible on Saturday September 19, 2026 @04:39PM (#49769924)
Why would I? Stop wasting my time.
Re:AI-generated posters don’t have to be horrible on Saturday September 19, 2026 @02:26PM (#49768959)
These are still terrible. It's painfully obvious they are AI. And that's the whole problem. AI posters feel soulless and like nobody put in the work to make something nice. I mourn our pre-AI world with its showcases of human creativity.
Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (September 2026) on Tuesday September 15, 2026 @06:18AM (#49710231)
Love this idea! One of the rare tech products nowadays that induce optimism. Eagerly waiting for the Android release.
Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (September 2026) on Tuesday September 15, 2026 @06:17AM (#49710225)
No, because in a group chat people feel the pressure to reply.

Who do they want to shoot in space?
Re:iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 on Tuesday September 15, 2026 @05:50AM (#49710033)
Probably intended, because usually Mac is not very enjoyable
Okay, that is nasty.
Re:I'm switching my phone from Android to Linux on Thursday August 06, 2026 @03:06AM (#49193468)
Agreed. I got an iPhone from work and I can barely type on that thing while my Pixel with Gboard just works and gets it right 95 % of the time even if I type gibberish.
Re:Writing by hand is good for your brain on Thursday July 23, 2026 @05:46PM (#49028468)
I agree. My iPad 2 could last a month or more in standby. My iPad 8 maybe one to two weeks.
I gotta say handling my ever growing photo collection is a pain in the ass but I'm just not okay with uploading it to some server I don't control.
This is the stuff I want to read on HN!
Re:Are we offloading too much of our thinking to AI? on Tuesday July 14, 2026 @05:14PM (#48913035)
I believe the answer is a resounding "yes". Anyone using AI must have caught themselves typing a quick prompt before spending even a little time thinking about the problem.
Re:Ask HN: Who is quitting? (July 2026) on Thursday July 02, 2026 @08:55AM (#48760796)
They were priviliged before and only now know how that feels because they aren't anymore
Re:Ask HN: Who is quitting? (July 2026) on Thursday July 02, 2026 @08:26AM (#48760399)
I'm thinking about it every day
Back to old expensive apple pricing
Re:GrapheneOS has been ported to Android 17 on Tuesday June 23, 2026 @03:33AM (#48641575)
So right now it is only developed for pixels (except for the not yet public Motorola builds)
The photos aren't half bad. I was expecting something along the lines of the first cameras on mobile phones.
Very cool idea. I don't have kids (yet), tough.
Re:GrapheneOS has been ported to Android 17 on Wednesday June 17, 2026 @03:22AM (#48566951)
It is only developed for Pixel phones
Re:Emacs Appearances in Pop Culture on Thursday June 11, 2026 @05:44PM (#48496854)
That sounds really interesting, would like to read it. Amazon is not an option for me though since they don't let you download your ebook files anymore. Any other way I can get a copy and pay you for it?
Re:KDE at 30 on Saturday June 06, 2026 @03:18PM (#48428034)
