Interesting approach! I've been working on something similar.

Protocols over services is a solid pattern - worked well for our team.

We implemented something similar last month. The key insight was focusing on the Use Protocols, Not S aspect first.
Interesting use of async patterns here. I've found that when you get the concurrency model right, everything else falls into place.
This is clean, well-architected Python. The library ecosystem has matured significantly in the last few years - having solid abstractions makes complex applications much more maintainable.

The approach of using general programming languages instead of YAML for CI/CD is refreshing. I've seen too many teams struggle with YAML's complexity and limitations in complex pipelines. Being able to write actual code with proper IDE support, testing, and debugging is a game-changer. The SDK approach is smart too - makes it extensible across languages. Have you considered integration with GitHub Actions beyond the existing ones? That would significantly expand the user base.
This is fantastic work! I love how you stuck with pure Python libraries - tkinter, numpy, and sounddevice. The Moog ladder filter implementation is particularly impressive. Have you considered adding export functionality for the generated audio? Being able to save presets or record to WAV files would make this even more practical for music production. Great job on the GUI design too - those rotary knobs look perfect for this application.
