There are large lenses for phonecams, if you are willing to use an eternal add-on. We've gotten rather demanding that all our technological magic fit in a 3x5x0.5inch box.
What's the purpose of taking pictures and fixating on the past?

Anything can be meaningless if you axiomatically don't care about it.

Are you saying they called you out for your fuzzy thinking, and changed the topic of conversation to be more welcoming to your outsider perspective? You have sharp and kind coworkers.
Better cameras make photography easier and more successful. You don't need $3K but a $1000 DSLR kit can do amazing things for you and make it fun to practice.

> Poorly lit.

Better cameras capture more light.

> Out of focus.

Better cameras auto-focus faster and choose target points better.

> Half the subject out of frame.

High resolution cameras can capture an image for later cropping without early zooming.

Few independent observers claim that Russia or China are places with legitimate governments that serve their people well. China is rather well known for its ethics-laundering industry, doing unsafe and polluting manufacturing work for others.

The alternative to soylent is solid foods that are a combined bunch of things loaded with synthetics. Anything you cook is "synthetic".

Sadly they need to cater to a audience that craves familiarity and fears change.
Re:The rise of alternative milks on Saturday February 02, 2019 @08:01PM (#19067046)
Right. If it comes from a cow or a goat, call it cow's milk, or goat's milk, not ambiguous "milk"
Re:The rise of alternative milks on Saturday February 02, 2019 @08:00PM (#19067038)
Your kids can enjoy soy milk so you finish a quart or half gallon together in a week.

which is not where nails come from.

Calling breast a reproductive gland is weird. It's a secondary sexual feature, sure, but it's a feeding gland, whose specific purpose is to provide edible nourishment.

Re:The rise of alternative milks on Saturday February 02, 2019 @07:58PM (#19067028)
It's tacky to try to describe things in weird terms to make them sound bad instead of arguing their merirs. I'd rather "breasfeet at a random animal" than "eat genetically engineered things that grow in dirt and manure, covered in bugs".
Re:The rise of alternative milks on Saturday February 02, 2019 @07:55PM (#19067015)
You are describing a placebo. You tricked yourself into thinking it's fish (if anything it's algae/carageenan) and that you don't like fish (algae). You can train yourself back and enjoy the benefits of soy milk.

Caveat: That feature only works if you pay with enhanced access to your (unrelated) data, by enabling Web and App Activity tracking/logging.
What part of that thread/video series are you calling attention to?
In the case you hypothesize, signaling early may be illegal (and so a Waymo care wouldn't do it), but backing off ato yield space to a signaling car is still not illegal, so a Waymo car could do it.
Sounds rough, but it fair. You can package your item properly to be safe it the world (costs time and money, depending on fragility), or pay for gentle handling. Similar to how you can carry your own umbrella in the rain, or pay someone to carry an umbrella for you.

I don't want to pay an extra $10 for every shipment.

You are still blaming the laborer for management's policies re (not) allocating sufficient time for correct work.
If they don't budget it, then is shows that they don't care about parking tickets at all, they just pay whatever. Budgeting it shows they are tracking tickets which is a necessary component of reducing ticket counts.

Rhetoric is fun; it's easy to prove both a proposition and its opposite.

Surely that sewage pump operator obtained a permit to block the street that day?

There's also a correlation/causality question -- perhaps mortality causes retirement -- people work until they can't work, and they can live bit longer because living is a bit easier than working.
Great question.

There's some debate, apparentl, but the basic result is that temperature variation has side-effects, but superfreezing (keeping temp below < -20F, or below 0F, depending on the studied and what is studied) avoids the problems.

It's far less useful than a battery, though, because heat is only good for heating things, which means you also need to provide fuel to convert it into electrical or motive applications. like computers and cars.
You are describing charging a battery: https://www.tesla.com/powerwall

So if you accidentally drop your keys while entering, or your passenger departs with your key, the car should lock itself 2 minutes later while you are driving?
Insurance companies pressure drivers who have these misfeatures, drivers pressure car manufactures. See also: discounts for anti-theft tech and airbags.
Also keep the fob in a shielded case at work and whenever you are out for shopping or entertainment.

Those aren't "lean" either! "Lean" means starting your business before you have a product, marketing-driven development, and fumbling around chasing customers until you find something they want to buy, and then building it.

It's not the name that gatekeeps, it's the necessity of having the network in order to access capital. The name is honest. These days, at least you can try kickstarter.
