Maybe that implies more dyes, additives, pesticides, supplements in poultry/beef/pork in those other countries?

I think that article is from 2009. Need something more recent. Also it mentions that as countries become high-income economies, the incidence rate increases.

From what I've read Claude Duet will not purchase anything without manual approval.
There are lots of Camry from 2008 to 2017 which has paint delamination issue. Ours is from 2012 but it only started getting noticeably worse near the end of the warranty period and I never heard about it because it was during the pandemic and our dealer went out of business. Toyota didn't publicize the issue till the end.
Plenty of tech companies hired a lot during the pandemic. Even with these layoffs they will still have a higher employee count that before.

I just use auto mode but there is also some config settings for more fine grain control. The model could even help you customize them.

Re:Why is the liver so weirdly regenerative? on Thursday September 24, 2026 @06:44PM (#49837797)
I'm a kidney transplant patient myself. Your cells have HLA markers to distinguish your own cells from foreign cells. That is to prevent your immune cells from attacking your own body. This also makes it harder to find a organ match.

The reason I needed a kidney transplant is because of an auto disease called IgA Nephropathy where the IgA antibody has a small defect that causes the rest of the immune system to attack it and the whole mess clogs up the kidney filters over time.

Re:How Big Are Factorials? on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @11:42AM (#49728763)
There is a algorithm call Prime Swing Factorial that can compute large factorials exactly in arbitrary precision math using prime factorization. Like 10000000! in under second depending of how optimized the math library it. Probably like 100x faster than the normal method.
I believe 80186 was for embedded systems.
I think the new US GPS satellites have ability to do a spot beam of increased strength in a region of interest.
> Blue collar workers and service industry workers aren't in immediate danger of being replaced by AI, so there is a cushion period in which there is still a large number of people who have jobs.

There will just be a lot more workers competing for those blue collar and service industry jobs in the future which will drive down their wages.

Re:Get your Windows license refund on Friday August 28, 2026 @01:41PM (#49481978)
Dell probably gets money from other companies for the additional bloatware software installed on Windows system.
I have one of those I got second hand also. :)
Public libraries destroy unsold book donations all the time. I often tried to give away some old books I have online and nobody wants them. Some of these books have some nostalgic value to me so I hate to see them just get destroyed so they just lie in my shed.
I have a feeling Fujitsu took the blame for mistakes done by the Post Office in order to get future contracts. The contracts are padded to pay fines and damages.
They could fund Lady Bird browser. Less legacy code to worry about. Run it lean like Blender.

That looks pretty good. How did you do the graphics?
They don't do request based pricing anymore. Its just token based (1 credit = $0.01) plus some bonus credit based on which plan you subscribe. So for example a $39 plan get $70 of credits.
