it's substantive to the OP and GP's commentary. it's not apropos of nothing
This is the idea behind 100x or 1000x odds in craps. People either won't play that high, or the other -EV play decisions outweigh even massive true odds action
Oppressing UK citizenry hasn't really ever had great success
Legislation arbitrage

Maybe they'll be the next Verizon aquisition
because mAh aren't magical
not really. It's saying if you can't understand the emotional state then you dont get the reward so its more neutral than hate
>I wonder if it was actually that my ex-partners were incapable of understanding how someone unlike them would react to different situations. I was usually able to predict their reactions, but maybe it was only a one way street
but you're the common denominator so its their fault, ok right
Re:Amazon has made its first drone delivery to an actual customer on Wednesday December 14, 2016 @12:11PM (#13177567)
I can't see this becoming a regular activity. They'll be people waiting near the distribution center treating it like skeet shooting range
It is. I'm skeptical its true like so much medical news out of Italy. This poorly documented transplant doesn't make biological sense. The organs have completely different functions.
It adds efficiency for military grade targeting but the everyday applications are more novelty than explosive technology. A field technician will have minimal benefit from a heads up targeting display.
None? It would be dangerous to obscure the vision of either of these types of workers
The map is not the territory and there is no value merging the two. Overlaying data onto vision is just a distraction and assuming something magical happens when you overlay data instead of putting it next to you on a screen is delusional
Re:In the Deep, Clues to How Life Makes Light on Friday December 02, 2016 @05:55PM (#13093048)
Since life has repeatedly found light to be a great way to communicate in the dark, where are all the messages coded by aliens in starlight
The majority of Americans see free data for streaming video and music from a carrier's partner as a feature.

Re:Warning: 2016 MacBook Pro is not compatible with Linux on Friday November 11, 2016 @09:26AM (#12930846)
apples and oranges
Re:Warning: 2016 MacBook Pro is not compatible with Linux on Thursday November 10, 2016 @04:05PM (#12924328)
A more accurate description is that Linux isn't compatible with the new Macbook Pro. It's not Apple's job to make their laptop compatible with Linux.
So you're saying he's like every politician that has ever made a promise
Re:Scientists have found a way to help learn skills faster on Thursday February 11, 2016 @06:21PM (#11084125)
Scales is the key to improv in my experience
Re:Scientists have found a way to help learn skills faster on Thursday February 11, 2016 @05:47PM (#11083942)
If you take the approach of mastering the instrument instead of a piece then scales, arpeggios, and other building blocks become critical. Almost like learning improv jazz violin, before taking on a classical piece
Re:Physicists Detect Gravitational Waves, Proving Einstein Right on Thursday February 11, 2016 @11:35AM (#11081169)
Would it be possible to listen for information transmitted via gravitational waves? Would there be any benefit over radio?
Re:Web Scraping Finds Price Fluctuation on Wednesday February 10, 2016 @03:39PM (#11075795)

Re:A Diet and Exercise Plan to Lose Weight and Gain Muscle on Wednesday February 03, 2016 @04:08PM (#11029766)
