Re:Bandwidth needs halved by new compression written in Go on Tuesday February 26, 2013 @06:44PM (#5289473)
The article mentions how this compression technique is similar to image compression. Would anyone care to explain, in detail if necessary, how this is so? Thanks.

The author seems to desire a needlessly complicated way to make these things happen.

The pathos-heavy articles are not going to disappear; rather, they portend HN's inevitable fate. Camel's nose, etc.

Re:Stephen Fry on binary choices on Monday May 10, 2010 @08:03PM (#1336325)
The joke I was making is many people are Simpsons purists and say Family Guy is complete crap.
