Awesome, thanks. Also to jwr.

In first url it is "shot" instead "short". :)
Re:Show HN: Loss. a tiny satire about AI progress on Thursday September 17, 2026 @09:14AM (#49740291)
If someone would record the progress and would make a video of it, I'd gladly watch through, but unfortunately I do not have the time to engage with it.
Maybe I’m not even waiting for a model which is 100% at code, but one which is almost 100% at interactively exposing its (almost? correct) mental model.

If I put it like that, it seems to me we are much far away.

Re:Shopify moves back to Native from React Native on Sunday September 13, 2026 @09:59AM (#49684088)
Do you have experience with Jetbrains products? If yes, wdyt where are they lacking and how XCode is better? For me Jetbrains is miles ahead of XCode.
Re:Shopify moves back to Native from React Native on Saturday September 12, 2026 @05:30AM (#49670616)
Jeez, I did not even realize that! That’s a very good point (in general)!
Re:Shopify moves back to Native from React Native on Saturday September 12, 2026 @04:51AM (#49670382)
Can you back these claims, please?

Thanks for that, nicely put, interesting angle.

Well put, thanks.

“It’s OK to be hacked until everyone is getting hacked.”
Re:OpenClaw privilege-escalation bug on Friday April 03, 2026 @02:38PM (#47630354)
This is a vibe based comment. It’s a generic attack with no meat.
Afaik Google Sheets comes with REST API endpoints by default.

How is this different?

Which scenarios do and which DO NOT require Sheet Ninja?

Nice ideas, thanks for sharing. Wondering how many other people have been thinking about something similar.

Same here, seems 100% marketing move. The trend continues.
Re:Go beyond Goroutines: introducing the Reactive paradigm on Monday October 27, 2025 @09:00PM (#45728210)
Thanks for this! I never used go but planning for a while and if I do so, I’d like to do it in a reactive way. As I’ve seen there are a few other reactive go libs as well, may I ask how this new lib relates to them?
Re:JavaScript Trademark Update on Sunday June 29, 2025 @06:40AM (#44411973)
We renamed master to main for nonsense. Broke everything. Still, companies and people were proud of it (lol).

Why we do not just use EcmaScript from now on in conversations and as a trend so the issue is solved. A joke to me.

Interested in that too.
Re:Show HN: Rill – Composable concurrency toolkit for Go on Monday November 25, 2024 @05:45PM (#42240911)
How does it compare to RxGo?
Re:Beyond Clean Code on Friday July 26, 2024 @04:51PM (#41082181)
Same conclusion here. May I ask about your stack/domain?
Yes, but one does not have to reliably make assertions to feed a meme.

People want to be good. The current agenda God says you are good if you sacrifice to the CO2 god. No need to make reliable assertions to feel good about it. Anyone who challenges the act of sacrifice is someone to burn. No challenge means no problems.

Anyone who wants to see both sides of the Co2 discussion is already sceptical at minimum. But it does not make you feel good. Therefore its rare. It feels good to sacrifice to the Co2 god. “Lemme sacrifice you fool.”

Very cool. Turned my brain off. High pitch is a bit too sharp fir me.
We are the AGI :)
Wondering if there would be an "easier" way to express something in biology/evolution, then the evolution would (already) compressed it like that.

Maybe by definition: current existing things in evolution are not "more compressable" (for us) without losing meaning? (Their meaning could be estimated though through -leaky- abstractions?)

Re:Use YouTube to improve your English pronunciation on Tuesday October 31, 2023 @12:26AM (#38080291)
I I try to type randomly without checking the prediction, I get 67-70%, if I check it, I can easily get it to 46-50%.

It is really interesting.

Fixing the title:

Re:Ask HN: What is the most memorable game you played? on Tuesday August 01, 2023 @06:07AM (#36954275)
Wow, nice, thanks! :) I’ll consider. Do you have a link? :) I am lame though. :)
Re:Observable API Proposal on Friday July 28, 2023 @08:03PM (#36915105)
They used to track a dependency map explicitly so they can determine when your “transaction” begins and ends so you can update all dirty at once.

Another way to deal with it is explicitly not dealing with it, eg. saying it is only (inconsistent) UI and will go away in a millisec…

Re:Ask HN: What is the most memorable game you played? on Friday July 21, 2023 @06:29PM (#36820816)
Unreal Tournament (99 / GOTY Edition)

I was ~6 years old, when I played the demo version. Earlier, I had played Q2, (maybe Q3 demo?!), Tiberian Sun, Red Alert before and couple of simpler games and demos.

Unreal Tournament demo had like ~4-5 Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch maps, 1 Capture the Flag (infinite gameplay for me at that age on CTF-Face (Facing Worlds) :D ), maybe 1 Assault map, but not sure.

The motor, feeling, control, sounds, music were just pure awesome. Sniper headshots, jumps, tricks, extremely competitive feeling, double kill, triple kill, ultrakill, mo-mo-mo-mo-monsterkill... :D

Then the Game of The Years version was a Christmas present for me, I still remember the smell and the feeling. I could not try it out for a bit, so I was reading the (Hungarian! :D) manual back and forth. The GOTY version had extra weapons, maps, skins, goodies.

Later, internet was slow, but mods and couple servers were just awesome.

I want to go back! :D

Unfortunately it is impossible. Partially due to the missing scene, partially because I get frustrated, when I realize that my muscle memory (aiming) is totally broken and I cant hit shit, even if I truly see and feel, that I hit. :D

Back then, I did not even see if I hit, I just knew. And I truly hit. Wtf, it's gone. :D

Nowdays the only maps I play are TS/Expo/mobx-keystone. :)
