Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer (8 YoE, full-stack background) - AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Python, Postgres

Location: France (CET)

Remote: Yes (worked async with scale-ups for 5 years)

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: AWS (ECS Fargate, RDS), Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), Python (FastAPI, Flask, aiohttp), PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Redis, React, security tooling (SAST/DAST, Wiz, Nuclei, SonarQube), Grafana/Prometheus/Loki

Résumé/CV: https://cldn.fr/ - https://linkedin.com/in/clement-de-nailly

Email: [email protected]

I started as a full-stack developer (Python, React, Postgres) and moved to infrastructure, security and developer experience, so I'm comfortable on both sides of the pipeline. 8 years of experience, 5 as a freelancer.

Recent work:

- Cut a 2-week release process down to a 40-minute CI/CD pipeline

- Ran AWS infrastructure (ECS Fargate, Terraform) and built critical integrations, including LLM-based features, for a US scale-up

- Secured delivery pipelines: SAST/DAST in CI, vulnerability remediation with Wiz, OWASP-based risk analysis

Available now for project/contract work with EU or US companies. Best fit: DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineer, product engineer, cloud architect. Also open to discuss backend-heavy roles (Python only).

I am a full-stack developer (current job title) with 4 years of experience on the Python/Angular/Docker/GitLab-CI stack. I have been using Python and Docker since 2017, and Angular since its v2 was released it 2016. I also learned Vue and NuxtJS on my own and built one big personal project with it. Semi-personal so I'm not disclosing the URL here. I love Ops (CI/CD changed my life) and I am familiar with Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu/Kali) and do ops on a few big servers which host roughly 15 webapps/backend APIs/databases using Docker Compose. Familiar with two cloud providers for Kube: GCP and Scaleway.

Looking for contract and full-time opportunities in full stack, DevOps, or software architecture positions.
