I think that's the point, you win some, you lose some, overall you approximate the market

Maybe going on trails on/around the mountain as opposed to heading to the top?

Could it also be because they looked at your profile?
Re:Wesley A. Clark, legendary computer engineer, dies at 88 on Friday February 26, 2016 @09:04PM (#11185698)
I don't get the 49 joke, explain please?
"n squared plus one"
Technically "n^2+1" has no spaces.

And I guess one way to think about it is that terms in an expression can be viewed as letters, so the expression then becomes a word.

We also never in our long past lived past 60.
Still the same concept, although I'd guess the NBA players would have less variance in performance. Thanks!
Source? That sounds intersting

Even if we go by the assumption that this is true, it's then not going to be exclusive to the technology industry.

That's a pretty good way of putting it.

Those places are pretty far from SF though. Not unbearable, but you're probably looking at >1hr door to door.
Re:Take-home interviews on Thursday July 30, 2015 @02:26PM (#9976951)
I meant saying Fizzbuzz with 66 commits is not a fair comparison to a library having 66 commits.
Re:Listen to Wikipedia on Thursday July 30, 2015 @02:25PM (#9976944)
Listen could imply that we need to listen to Wikipedia's message. I was expected an essay honestly.
Re:Take-home interviews on Wednesday July 29, 2015 @09:28PM (#9972745)
That's not really a fair comparison though. It would be more like a typical "whiteboard coding" problem needing a couple commits.
Re:Who's doing this to my internet? on Tuesday July 28, 2015 @02:29PM (#9963558)

+1, this is all I have done
Which one? 4?
> maybe, they could check to see if a phone number supports imessage

Is that possible? I haven't touched iOS in a long time.

Then anything that doesn't use fusion/fission to make carbon is carbon neutral.
Re:Uber has defeated Bill de Blasio’s plan to rein them in on Wednesday July 22, 2015 @08:51PM (#9933324)
People would pay for taxis too if they were priced competitively and as reliable/convenient as Uber. I don't think treatment of drivers/employees is high on anyone's priority list.
That seems unnecessarily aggressive to me, even though it could be meant in the best of intentions.
Re:Dear Google Mail Team on Tuesday July 21, 2015 @11:51PM (#9927641)
But isn't this true about phone numbers, addresses, and other things that have been around for longer than email?
How did you do that? I though it was (more or less) public information.
