Pretty much all software is built like that.
This is a reference to Animal Farm, right?
It is kinda funny the irony of going from "we are going to replace devs" to "we <3 devs, keep burning those tokens"
At this scale they ask different countries for tax breaks though
It would like a month to the community to figure out the APIs and few years to decompile it... If they really want to.
Re:AI Is Breaking Two Vulnerability Cultures on Friday May 08, 2026 @03:26PM (#48067589)
Maybe it is about time for Linux to get a real CD/CI and start using AI extensively.

Not just for vulnerabilities, having a nice agents|skills|etc.md definitions would encourage new devs to contribute instead of dealing with an overworked maintener repeating the same thing for n time.

Agree, I removed it from my selfhosted apps because for some reason it always has high cpu usage even when no downloading anything.
Wero already has more presence in Europe though

Run everything as sudo so they cant escalate any further ;)
Re:I am worried about Bun on Monday May 04, 2026 @01:41PM (#48012084)
I dont think so, but recent release includes a terminal markdown renderer built-in which means, even if handy, most of the focus is to make Claud Code great. I am not worried though, at least no yet.
Re:OpenAI Livestream: ChatGPT Images 2.0 on Tuesday April 21, 2026 @07:16PM (#47856094)
Crimson Desert failed to disclose on release and (almost) nobody cared, gamers kept buying it.

Efros–Leung, PatchMatch? Nearest neighbours was "AI" before difusion models.
Re:OpenAI Livestream: ChatGPT Images 2.0 on Tuesday April 21, 2026 @06:42PM (#47855636)
Seems good enough to generate 2D sprites. If that means a wave of pixel-art games I count it as a net win.

I dont think gamers hate AI, it is just a vocal miniority imo. What most people dislike is sloppy work, as they should, but that can happen with or without AI. The industry has been using AI for textures, voices and more for over a decade.

Re:Claude Code removed from Anthropic's Pro plan on Tuesday April 21, 2026 @06:15PM (#47855310)
Where I work. Medium size, base in Europe company. It is paying over 1800 per dev in AI tools. Home users stand no chance.
Dude you are on HN no Reddit, most people around here use Linux
I canceled my Netflix subscription when the TV app was crashing every time I try to use my USB headset when playing their content. Prob some DRM b.s.
Re:Arm AGI CPU on Tuesday March 24, 2026 @02:27PM (#47507035)
What does "Built for rack-scale agentic efficiency" even means?
Re:AI uBlock Blacklist on Saturday February 21, 2026 @11:00AM (#47101968)
We were close but the app dominance declined.
Re:uBlock filter list to hide all YouTube Shorts on Saturday February 14, 2026 @02:14PM (#47017366)
Finally, tired of creating this custom filter in all my devices lol. I wish it would all automatically apply the "videos" filter as well.
Re:The $100B Megadeal Between OpenAI and Nvidia Is on Ice on Saturday January 31, 2026 @09:52AM (#46837175)
The elephant in the room is China also being partially successful with their chips
Re:Anthropic acquires Bun on Tuesday December 02, 2025 @04:38PM (#46127217)
Anthropic is still a new company and so far they seem "friendly". That being said, I still feel this can go either way.
How does an app inspect other app's storage data (like whatsapp). I thought Android security model blocked that. Does it have root access?
Re:Do Not Put Your Site Behind Cloudflare If You Don't Need To on Tuesday November 18, 2025 @09:57AM (#45967016)
Is it removing cf as the middleman temporally such a big deal?
Dont you need ECC in your db nodes?
Pretty much this. Most companies have the "devops" folks fully dedicated to maintaining the cloud stuff.
How many comments did you write on this thread to justify Wikipedia's expenses? I counted at least 6.
I write in the prompt the distro and its version and so far no much problem with old answers. If anything, it made me realise that some knowledge I had is outdated.
Wouldnt be contribute with development? No idea about the Document Foundation but the Mozilla one prefer to waste donation money on CEO bonus and projects that nobody asked for.
Re:Baldur's Gate 3 Steam Deck – Native Version on Wednesday September 24, 2025 @06:49AM (#45358617)
As you would expect, wayland doesnt make a good host for remote playing. X11 should be fine though.
