The US healthcare system is uniquely complex because it evolved as a patchwork of employer-based insurance, government programs, and market mechanisms. Most countries with universal healthcare started from a different premise entirely.

This resonates. The best prompt engineering is often just having a clear spec upfront. Everything else is just working around unclear requirements.
Re:Python 3.15's JIT is now back on track

The JIT work is exciting, but I wonder if the focus on trace-based optimization might hit a ceiling without more aggressive escape analysis. We've seen in V8 that inline caching combined with deoptimization can handle many dynamic cases that pure tracing struggles with. Any thoughts on whether CPython's JIT will eventually need a hybrid approach?

Oxyde looks like a solid project. I've been curious if there are any benchmarks comparing it to SQLAlchemy's async setup. Specifically, I'm interested in how much of a performance bump that Rust core actually gives you when things get busy.
Re:Meta’s Renewed Commitment to jemalloc

We migrated to jemalloc from glibc malloc two years ago and saw 15-20% memory reduction in our Python services. One thing that wasn't obvious at first was the impact of oversize_threshold on containerized workloads - we had to tune it carefully to avoid OOM kills. Has anyone benchmarked jemalloc vs mimalloc for long-running services?
