Might be an art for a few. It's mostly a commercial problem to be solved.

Music is already mostly a solved problem unfortunately. Try giving opus a few midi files of your favorite song. It'll write something new in that style with a competence humans would need several years of experience for.

In Germany, a lot of things related to these themes are illegal to say.

This submission is against the guidelines. And several comments are illegal. But no one cares of course.

There is no evidence supporting this statement and a lot of evidence directly countering it.

We've had a bunch of these acts of terrorism in Germany in the recent years. Mostly power, but also train and industrial targets. They all came from the same source, which is very much not Russian.

I guess should low-key be happy that even expenses of 50 dollars per month for AI are being seen at ludicrous. Combined with our Microsoft only policy (i.e. ghcp), there's still hardly any serious ai use going on. Ah yes EU high tech companies...
Re:Google no longer provides direct URLs in search results

I'm confused. Google has done this for several years already. I have a Firefox extension installed that reverts it - it's several years old.
Re:Astra for Coding: Why Are We Doing This Again?
on Friday September 11, 2026 @03:40AM (#49654839)
I found it to be less annoying in that regard then sol. Might just be that it better listens to what I instruct though.
But yeah, it's really expensive, at least in relative terms.

Most would applaud that as Sol has quite a reputation for over engineering. Not every software needs to go to the moon.

Re:Parallel development without the headaches using Git worktree
on Sunday August 23, 2026 @11:07PM (#49414800)
There's a huge limitation with work trees that makes them borderline unusable: they can never be active on the same branch. Which includes that you can only ever have one on the master branch.
Re:GPT 5.6 Sol 20% price reduction
on Saturday August 22, 2026 @03:05AM (#49397345)
What's the deal with anthropic? Their models aren't better. They're just multiple times more expensive. We're about to disable all anthropic models because of the colleagues who waste 15$ on a opus call to write a markdown file.

Yeah maybe it should have. Because this is super incoherent and all over the place. Hard to parse what this is even about

Interesting. I've been gifted that book at just the right time in my life as a teenager. It captured me. I read it the to end many times. Not understanding everything or course. But it created a spark which laid the groundwork for my entire career.
I've never seen cosmos.

Nothing did more damage to c++ code bases than people not understanding this. People hear "smart pointers are good" and use them for everything. Not understanding that it's just the lesser evil and still extremely rarely needed (vs just stack memory or variants)

Bingo. Ghcp is the only allowed llm solution at our big well known semiconductor corp. It'll take years to get approval for anything else. We're stuck with it and will pay whatever price we have to.

But I don't want to change vaults, I want to work in both. I want to search for something and get results from all vaults. Or rather: I want to select which folders to sync - that would effectively be the same for me.
