Really hope Yakuake would also benefit from this development.
Really miss the airline peanuts. Was such a nice treat.
Put a decoy Fritzbox in front of it. Defense in depth!
It's definitely going to be a hit among people locked in the Apple ecosystem.
Time to take a look in the mirror. Especially before pointing out biases of others.
Sounds like Snow Crash becoming slowly a reality.
And it's always waiting for the verb to arrive.
This is generally a great article. I just wish the author would also mention how Poland (among other EU countries) is also hyper focusing on populist policies that benefit the older generations while heavily burdening the younger generations with a cost of these policies.
This is even a bigger problem than all these named external dependencies (which may or may not hurt us).
And worldnews is still quite tame with it. Other news subs are much harsher in their moderation, especially the EU local ones.
Tastes are interesting. I sprinted through Snow Crash and Cryptonomicon because they were so good. I struggled to get past the first few chapters of Reamde. Didn't engage me at all.
Our car industry (among others) showed we're quite capable of shooting ourselves in the foot. No need for external "big events".
One must imagine Mark happy, living in his metaverse.
I always wondered what happens if police forcibly enter someone's flat in these places. Do they ram the doors and then politely take off their shoes before entering?
I see a comedy potential.
It's a great story teller. Not really a good expert though.
It's the opposite feeling for me.
Not sure about other brands but pretty much any ThinkPad I use, the touchpad just feels right. Whereas on Macbooks it's just off, at least ever since the first Retina generation (my first contact with it).
Macbooks' touchpads are usually also way too big and, sadly, even Lenovo follows this bad trend in some of their models.
Then again, EU citizens would find it questionable how in the UK recruiters are asking about your ethnicity, disability status etc.
For me, showing the time, calendar notifications and turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps is all the smartwatch has to offer. Sleep tracking is a good extra. That's it.
Pebble was great at providing that, with crazy good battery life.
Or at least our public pension systems.
You just need a very strong frontier model to do triage of your tasks.

There's more and better reasons than MAX to avoid Ryanair.
Sadly Polish national airlines (among others) also went hard on 737MAX8 so it's not only the budget ones.
And you believe Germany somehow avoided it? Nice one.
Don't worry, wealthy people manage fine in Germany and multiply their capital.
It's just a glass ceiling on a middle class.
They're not wrong. It's definitely spread throughout EU too.
> Even when I am in pedestrian mode I find myself cursing those smaller electric moped riders who qualify to ride the bike lane
Well yeah but they're another league of recklessness. Especially the food delivery people.
I was talking more about an average bicycle commuter.
TBQH from my experience people in Vienna are quite oblivious to single-track vehicles. No idea why but even cycling here is often scary.
They're noisy, underpowered and way too expensive (also in maintenance). No wonder most of developing world rides Hondas.
Can it work with Zigbee network or is Matter/Thread required?
Can vouch for it. Ultrasound hasn't found calcification in my shoulder but MRI did. Exactly as you said, because it was very small.
