The new Mac monitor supports 120hz.
I have a 5k2k 44" OLED monitor from LG. Looks great on my Mac Studio.

Isn't that a problem caused by inflation which is driven (right now) by gov spending.

This is a straw man. Even if the top richest people paid an additional 16 billion in taxes that would run the gov for like a day. Our problem is with spending.

Transformers are just pattern matching. So if you write "give me a list of dog names" it knows that "Spot" should be in that result set. Even though it doesn't really know what a dog is, a list is, or what a spot is.

Probably was the porthole. It looks like the view port was rated for 1,300 meters. (They were descending to 4,000 meters) An engineer even warned them of the issue, and was fired. I suppose they didn't want to spend the money to develop an adequate one.

Yes, we need cheaper energy. Nuclear is a good option. Many drawbacks of previous gen reactors have been solved.

Actually, from an economic perspective, you should tackle the lowest hanging fruit. Assuming we can only tackle a non-unlimited amount of issues at any given time.
I'm assuming this article hits the dopamine because everyone has a phone, and it's a very personal item and everyone upgrades / replaces them eventually. A window A/C on the other hand, not so much.
Re:FTC to crack down on companies taking advantage of gig workers

A worker is worth what a business can pay for the value they bring. Arguably a low paid apprenticeship is more beneficial than mounds of college debt. Somehow taking debt is seen as better than simply breaking even. I know many jobs that would benefit from someone "sweeping the shop" while they learn the business.

Often these "gigs" are extremely flexible for students that can't work a full time job, and have random periods of idle time. Notwithstanding higher education should be more attainable by those same gig workers.
It feels like they're trying to move the first rung of the ladder higher and higher. They would rather a young person take on mounds of debt, instead of say a low paid internship or apprenticeship. Current minimum wages ensure automation are going to win.
