Should I go on?
Pre-pandemic 100k$ is an insane amount. 10k is common, so is 20k, but above that? pretty rare, yet he claims most of his friends had a similar situation.
HEC is one of the best finance school in canada, guy stay there 8 years, seems to have zero knowledge of money.
Then uber eats? That's weird. Most hec diploma will land you a 100k/years, after a few years. 400/month is not that much. Don't quit your job and become homeless for that!
Lots of bad choices here.
It really was eye opening in many ways. The media sucking up to the gouverment, the gourverment not giving shit about what end up being a large chuck of the population, forgetting they were in a democracy. Trucker were err. Well see for yourself.
It was left leaning and Police were quite happy to handle it with all they got. Many hundreds or thounsands of protester everyday (or nights) for over 100 days. 17 years-old students being hit with Baton, pepper spray, , tears gas, rubber bullets, flashbang etc. It was so chaotic that vladimir fucking putin even call canada to sort its shit (!!!). Since then police really has dialed it back in the protest.
Is a great cookbook for mere mortal with cooking skill juste above beginner. A few recipes became once a week classic and helped me improve my cooking skill and taste. Highly recommanded! #1 is good too.
I didn't try english though.
Esperanto is super easy if you speak both french and english. But man there is less content on the internet than klingon...

I am not sure if it's available outside of canada though.
I mean thief can steal one for their own purpose, but then what? He steal another one every weeks?
I dont get it.
Some games easily trigger VR sickness, other can be scary for the (younger) player for various reasons (fear of height, monster, etc.) not this one.
Racketnx is basically the vr version of arcanoid.
The strong point of the game is that the learning curve is extremely low. Almost anyone can pick the remote, put on the helmet and start hitting the ball.
Someone mentionned there is no feedback. There is very natural and well done haptic feedback. Speed of the swing matter in game. That is of course tracked in game (has to be).
The biggest challenge is taking time to download the whole thing...
here is the lastest failure.

IMO they will fail in new york as well.
In this case Accuracy mean the reference as in: this device reads 10C but could actual temperature could be 8 or 12. Because it drift according to multiple factors.
Precision means the linearity or if you prefer resolution (I think). Datasheet for the device says +/-0,5C meaning you can't have a reading more precise than 1C with that device. I think the term linearity apply if you try to mesure below that value: the reading may become non-linear because of fluctuaction, noise or other errors in the device.
It generates very fast flash of light,
Abnormally high heat.
Those are not easy thing thing to do with low power devices.
I'm guessing it doesn't scale up, but I don't think billions were spend to try (looking at you tokamak)
I first heard of the 1989 pons and fleischmann experiment in late '90 but didn't know what to think of it, I was in high-school, information was scarce. Then in 2008 or 2009' I found a memoir from a science historian about it. It spoke in great detail about the pressure to publish quickly before any rival the vested interest of the hugely influencal MIT in "hot fusion" (billions in funding). They they didn't even try to half-ass an experiment, then dragged pons and fleischmann in the mud so deeply they had to quit academic life and anyone who tried to follow their track would have their funding cut. Because most other physicist ( Pons & Fleischman were actualy electro-chemist) were not able to acheive the same results. Which was kind of to be expected: no peer review article was published they just "announced" their finding. Then everyone rush to blindly replicate months of hard work from a field they barely knew. Then it became a fraud, then fake science. Anyone trying the "forbidden" experiment would lose his reputation and any hope of a career. It doesn't get more anti science then cold fusion. Only then I realised wikipedia was full of censorship and could not be relied upon for anything remontly controversal.
Then came 2011, andrea rossi and the e-cat. Andrea rossi has a ph in... philosphy, convicted frauster in italy and inventor of a new cold fusion device. Even then it sparked ton of interest in cold fusion (LENR for low energy nuclear reaction, because it's not fusion that is happening: no hard radiation, no instant huge release of energy, etc.) and the next decade is a cycle of trying to debunk rossi, him promising a "working plant" next year, mistery client and feeding crumbs of evidence, proof and information over a decade. And it's not finished yet.
You can follow most of it on https://e-catworld.com/ . People there are not quite QAnon level of crazy but they will mention ufo various free energy stuff of regular basis. I remember reading news about navy SPAWAR research on cold fusion there.
But yeah in a nutshell huge claims, little results (but SOME result that is the annoying part).
