Just the idea of that scratches my brain in a nice way.

You're also going to benefit from European mandates to have accessible mobile apps anyways, it's coming for free to you.Not true, the EU tried to become a regulatory superpower and largely failed to export its rules to the rest of the world. Instead, Apple and Google just aren't bringing new features to the EU anymore.
You're not sure what the intended message was when somebody mentions politicians taking private jets for a journey of 100km?
My local Qwen model complains that humans are "chronically bad at distinguishing between problems that need fixing and noise that will settle."
At least it's not emo.
Mistral's answer sounds a lot like an edgy and le enlightened redditor from the mid-2010s.
I've still been known to write a cheeky code or two, even now in the age of LLMs. In fact, it's a little guilty pleasure of mine.
This was a whole lot of "here's why Stripe giving me a boatload of cash is awesome for me," and not very much "here's why it's awesome for you, my paying customer."
Cross your fingers and pucker your butt that it doesn't fuck it up.
I know it's not Bioware, but Kreia from Kotor 2 is still one of my favorite characters from any video game franchise. I wish I could experience those games for the first time again, but as an adult.
> The new CSS anchor positioning and popover attribute help but something simple and built-in that doesn't require lots of wiring would be great. It's puzzling why we don't have this basic UI feature yet?
What's the problem with popovers and anchor positioning? They're practically made for tooltips, I use them in production for this purpose right now.
How does Mozilla benefit from keeping it complicated? Or Microsoft, for that matter? Neither of them have a mobile App Store, so are they just playing along for the hell of it?
Interesting, I've never seen it do that.

but to refuse AI assistance at all as a matter of principle during the review stage is no longer a mainstream defensible position.Personally the position strikes me more like the people of yore who would write code entirely in vim/emacs or, god forbid, notepad++, while the rest of us were using IDEs. We can all sit on our high horses and croon about how much more productive they'd be if they just tried a little bit of AI – "come on bro, just a puff" – but they've got their workflow and it isn't broken.
Small Pharma investors didn't like this tweet.
Sign me up for this miracle drug already.
It was for me too, and it's only become slow very recently. I can't say with certainty, but I think it was around the time Mistral 4 launched that it seemed to slow down.
I've been using Mistral 4 as well, but from OMP with a Vibe subscription. Not location-based, I'm in the US.
I agree with you though. It's slow as hell, and so is their GLM offering.

I watch gold rush and last season the two largest producer were just about 11k ouncesI remember watching the first couple seasons of that show. Every time it went to commercial break they'd try to hype up the melodrama with "we gotta do X or we're not gonna reach a thousand ounces!"
My wife and I still quote that to each other out of the blue.
True, that's a good point.
The president has a huge say in which bills and budget items are passed, they routinely put enormous pressure on individual senators to whip votes for their agenda. This goes double or even triple for Trump! Congress might literally create the budget, but in our age they're – at the bare minimum – starting from the president's agenda and working with him to pass what he wants first.
Imagine the damage you could've wrought to your friends' xbox/playstation controllers.
Has there been polling to establish how many people hold that exact view, or is "large portion" just based on vibes? Do we even have a clear definition of what being "anti-AI" is? I'm extremely bearish on AI even though I use it every day, and I bet if you read my comment history here on HN you'd call me anti-AI even though that's not how I'd describe myself.
If we don't have that polling and that clear definition, goomba fallacy and probably strawman too.
Erm, the based employees at Anthropic don't read their code before merging, they just have Claude read it twice. Why would I waste my time reading code when I could be proompting?
The real answer here is just realpolitik: the US has the bigger dick and gets to swing it around by sheer virtue of its heft.
Goomba fallacy. The person I'm replying to is clearly trying to paint a whole swathe of people with the same brush.

I asked Gemma E4b and it was able to correct this comment's mistakes.Okay thanks
This thing would beat me, but I'm ass at StarCraft.

Anti-AI people don't seem to really live in reality. All AI = Slop (which is an absurd viewpoint) and that's the end of it. They have their purity tests and real outcomes don't matter to them.Strawman
