> figure out prompts that will make ChatGPT give a correct algorithm

I asked ChatGPT to add element to a relation R={(1,2),(1,3),(1,4),(6,1)} so that the relation becomes transitive. The program was not able to do so. When I gave some hints to solve this problem ChatGPT began some steps and in those steps the program was claiming that some element that weren't in R were in R. Trying hard to give some more hints, for example asking to check each line of its output, the same error were made. Even I simplified the problem asking just for element r(x,y,z) such that (x,y) in R, (y,z) in R and not (x,z) in R and add those elements until there are no more r(x,y,z). The program made the same error in the intermediate steps not being able to detect what elements were or were not in R. So ChatGPT is like a toy not solve even very basic logic problem. Sorry for being hash with ChatGPT, but it should be considered just like a language model and not used for something more.

Re:What Is a Mathematical Structure of Conscious Experience? on Sunday February 19, 2023 @06:09AM (#34856536)
Perhaps a model for explaining the model that explains the model and so on?, that is a recursive procedure to obtain a fixed point for the function f(model) = f(explain(model))? So that f = model0 where model0 is the fixed point of the function f. In order to use explain you should read first Kant's account of Reason (1). Hince knowledge should be expanded within the dialectics framework so that no concept of God or World emerge from it.

First: You should be hoping that someone that wrote a book about consciousness should jump in this thread. Second: As we see with LLM consciousness is not needed to fake humans, so consciousness will be redefined along the progress of technology to reflect a notion of a person or thinking machine that cannot understand the structure of the network that is using to think consciously. Chaytanya means conciousness in Hindi (https://www.shabdkosh.com/dictionary/hindi-english/chaitanya...)
Re:The Janet Language on Saturday February 18, 2023 @11:49AM (#34848339)
The Janet language seems very easy to learn once you know Lisp and Clojure. But there are not community examples, for example for using regular expressions, and the http/request is not loaded in the repl when you don't install the system. Don't know why, since the net module seems to work. Overall it seems a nice language to play.

Community examples for regex gives https://janetdocs.com/regex/source and the result is: opps 404
