Backend and automation engineer, in contact center systems since 2018. Looking for a backend, automation or applied AI role, full-time or contract.

Since February 2026 I am the only engineer behind CitaBot, a WhatsApp booking service for small health businesses: multi-tenant PostgreSQL with Row Level Security, n8n workflows, an LLM with guardrails and handoff to a human. Still a pilot, no paying customers yet. The repo above is a small demo of the same design (mock LLM, SQLite, tests).

Since late 2024, automation engineer for the operations team of a contact center: daily Python/SQL ETL, call-recording download and sampling, Erlang-C sizing tools, a contingency tool for outages. Around 1,200 hours of manual work saved per year, by my own estimate. 2023 to 2024: own products. 2018 to 2023: IVR developer (C++, PHP) for Telefonica, Correos and Euskaltel.
