How much, oil, electricity, and blood does it take to prop up the US dollar???
It is available in Brazil, at least in a research capacity. I almost tried it to work on an alcohol addiction but regrettably decided against it at the time.
Because there is an ongoing disaster?
how about a culture that understands people are just different, and all of them will likely wake up at different times
Life itself is competition...
Can you provide a little elaboration on "the worst to be around"? What makes it like that for you?
My dad would have loved to have you instead of me. He walked in on me with the family PC taken completely apart and flipped out, lol. I agree with you though.
I have always gotten anywhere between no and way-to-much anxiety when using pot, just depends on quantity, setting, etc. I prefer doing it alone, in small amounts. If I'm going to get stoned it's almost definitely alone.
Psychedelics are the same, for me, times like ten. Fortunately I handle it relatively well, and I just let it ride as "part of the experience" when I trip. Usually the uncomfortable parts go away after the peak, and then it's just awesome for hours. The peak is amazing in its own ways too, but there is (for me) no doubt a have anxiety/body buzz that is just uncomfortable as all get-out.
I've tried explaining this to people who've never tried psychedelics. It is unlike any other substance I've ever tried (a lot of them, FWIW) in that it leaves you with lasting impressions. Some things I gleaned tripping have stuck with me to this day. It has changed me for the better.
I have the same doubts. I think it'll inevitably happen, eventually, but the timeline may be wayyy longer than people seem to think.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a small settlement for research or something in my lifetime. Maybe something like what we have in Antarctica.
Damn you beat me to it xD
That's awesome man good work
Does the reasoning behind it all seem to make sense, or does it seem like meaningless sci-fi word-salad? I don't understand enough to know.
I tend to agree over all, I think there is some kind of disinformation campaign behind it. There very well may be some nuggets of truth in there - I wouldn't at all be surprised to learn the US govt has tech that would blow us away today - but I think they're heavily exaggerating things at the least.
At the end of the day, they're either trying to convince other world powers that we have tech we don't, or they're warning others that we do. The only other possibility is, as you suggested, some kind of hoax or prank.
Who knows where the truth really is.
Obviously pros and cons to both approaches. Both should be utilized when and where it makes sense to do so. We should not hold back in getting humans into space, but that doesn't mean we should just forget about bots either.
