Are you referring to fast food when you say that $5 USD is a meal?

What outside investments?
Vaccinated folk — while still being infectious — have milder forms of the disease. For the unvaccinated Omicron is not mild relative to the OG strain.
Re:Imap-backup: Backup Gmail or other IMAP accounts to disk on Saturday January 08, 2022 @07:47AM (#29851169)
Maybe OP refers to the situation where you lose all data since the last takeout, but if you had a daily imap backup running you could mitigate this loss for your emails.

Do you follow a specific protocol or method for learning these days? And compared to when you were learning something when you were younger, do you find it more challenging (even with the protocol)?

Also Indian here. If the OP is used to cubes of sugar, he’s probably quite wealthy in India. Indian middle class consumers usually use granulated sugar as the cubes are more expensive, and middle class Indian consumers are usually quite price sensitive.

I had a Moto X (2014), and I had a very similar impression. The launcher was very minimal and AOSP-like. It was also one of the first Android devices that had always-on listening for a trigger word (Hello Moto X?). I always found that almost magically useful at setting alarms when I was already in bed.

Densely Connected Convolutional Networks (https://arxiv.org/abs/1608.06993) use the idea you're talking about quite effectively.
Re:Notion API – public beta on Thursday May 13, 2021 @01:59PM (#27145163)
I had the same experience. It started off great, but I was not a fan of the idea of having all my data hostage with Notion. I'm using emacs with org-mode and org-roam right now, but I still don't have good flow with org-roam.

Both Obsidian.md and vimwiki look really cool though. Do you use Obsidian and vimwiki together, or for separate purposes?

Could Github Pages work too?

I think OP was being sarcastic.

Other brokers are also blocking buys on different tickers. E-trade prevented me from buying $GME, and looks like they've blocked $AMC buys too.

That sounds like an interesting system. I've been trying to get into using org more often, and so far i've figured out journaling and using org for creating nicely formatted PDFs via LaTeX. But I haven't had much luck getting into taking general notes about topics using org so far.

Do you follow any sort of structure inside of the individual topic notes, or is it more freestyle?

Re:How to Use Anki to Improve Your Memory on Friday November 20, 2020 @10:34AM (#25161410)
Any suggestions for what to use Anki to remember in everyday life as a software engineer?
