could not agree more. Model capabilities matter a lot more than having a dedicated Figma MCP
a pretty good test of whether AI can actually improve product/design decisions rather than just generate prettier pixels
tbh, both linktree and what you built look cool. But what would you say are some key differentiators?
the UI looks clean and slick. Nice work!
yeah. My rule of thumb has been to use LLMs to compress the distance between an idea and working software, but never outsource my understanding of how each piece or component fits together.
For example, when I'm working on something, I intentionally don't use an LLM to break down the problem. I take the time doing that myself, including defining the implementation details and my style preferences. Then I use plan mode in tools like Cursor or Claude to generate a detailed technical design.
Before I hit build, I read through the plan carefully and make sure I understand every part of it. I want the file structure, component boundaries, and overall organization to be exactly how I intend them to be.
Ultimately, the goal is to make sure "I own the solution, not the AI"
tried to give it a spin...but just wouldn't work for me. Tried recording something...and clicked on generate art
ohk got it. I meant for first time users...set it as default would be quite helpful. I think
honest initial take, feels a lot going in the UI. I think it would be useful if you have some kind of a guided journey asking users a bunch of questions...and then build an initial plan...then enable them to customize
Lol... I have to admit it’s pretty engaging. Although now it feels like I’m just hating on things like ADP which literally processes my paychecks and performance reviews
Interesting idea for sure. But as a software engineer, I’m struggling to map out what this would replace today. I use Cursor pretty heavily, but it’s not entirely clear what would make me jump to a new IDE based on what you’ve built so far.
Maybe I’m missing something.
love the idea! I am going to give this a spin.
personally, I am always trying to time box tasks, to drive sense of urgency.
The thin progress line under the menu bar is a really nice touch.
Congrats on shipping! I’ve actually been thinking about a somewhat adjacent problem, but more geared towards fundamentals investors. However the caveat with fundamentals though is that they don't change that often.
I feel the UI is pretty cluttered and noisy. Especially the fonts below the charts are too small to read.
