News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

No, I believe it's called 'favoritism', and it occurs with white people or Indian people, or any group of people.

> Unit 731 was a secret biological and chemical warfare research unit run by the Imperial Japanese Army between 1933 and 1945. An estimated 14,000 people were killed by infecting prisoners with deadly diseases, conducting vivisection, performing organ harvesting, testing hypobaric chambers, amputating limbs, and exposing victims to chemical agents and explosives.
Re:Amazon pushes up prices across the Internet on Wednesday October 14, 2026 @03:22PM (#50093490)
>Assembly line jobs are rough and people pee in bottles, and die.

You phrase this as if it's acceptable that people work in terrible conditions and sacrifice their lives so that the rest of us can buy cheap products with fast shipping, and this is completely normal. "Another Amazon warehouse worker dead? Oh well!"

It always be an option to close the browser tab and look at something else.
This is pure speculation. You can't possibly predict what courts are going to decide in the future. And the Digital Age Assurance Act doesn't "force a user to give up ID to access the Internet", it requires age information to be collected during creation of a user account on a system.

Your elementary school social studies teacher failed you; the statement you referenced is written in the Declaration of Independence, not the US Constitution. The parent OP that I first replied to stated that "Owning money should allow you more representation than not owning money". This is a position not at all worth defending, and completely at odds with the concept of "all men are created equal".

"and yet now the constitution bans slavery"

Unless you're a prisoner convicted of a crime. Stating that the founders of the United States owned slaves is not "nihilistic nonsense", it's an important distinction to note that they sought political power for themselves, and no one else. The phrase "all men are created equal" should be interpreted as "all white land-owning men are created equal"

41 of the 56 men who signed the document containing that statement were slave owners.
Except when millions of Ukrainian refugees have been allowed in since 2022. You could say that they said "no" to mass brown people migration.

Requires an email address and credit card to even try this, so nope.

In the past, we'd call this a troll (blog) post.
Re:SparkFun Officially Dropping AdaFruit due to CoC Violation on Thursday January 15, 2026 @02:03AM (#46629080)
It's not difficult for me at all; I can understand it quite well.

Perhaps if in the future the US army is found to be a criminal organization, like the Schutzstaffel is considered to be today.
Re:American Radio Relay League paid $1M ransom payment on Tuesday September 03, 2024 @03:19PM (#41438201)
The article states that their insurance paid the ransom.
Defcon has never required IDs to attend. They were requiring negative Covid tests in 2021, but that is no longer required.
??? Those images aren't blurry or hard to read at all. What does it really matter if they embed a legible image or use text?
No, I believe people would like to know precise details of what you're referring to as "left woke agenda".

50k will do you quite well in Warsaw, as well as most other Polish cities. Even more so outside of the large cities.
The words “home computer” appear here - https://support.lastpass.com/help/incident-2-additional-deta..., which is linked at the bottom of the Incident 2 Summary from the parent article.
I believe you can still choose the domain join option during install and still create a local account

His twitter feed is interesting; seems folks have some doubts about his research, both this and past vulnerabilities he found.
Re:The NSA’s Hidden Spy Hubs in Eight U.S. Cities on Monday June 25, 2018 @12:21PM (#17393603)
Perhaps you shouldn't discount the entire content of the article based on what could be perceived as a minor mistake. There's quite a bit of corroborating material in regards to the core theme of the Intercept piece (AT&T/NSA collaboration); for example, the engineer who's quoted in the Intercept article has been speaking out about NSA surveillance for several years. He's been referenced in similar articles in various publications going back to at leat 2007. The San Francisco address in the article was Mark Klein's former workplace and he ostensibly witnessed fiber splitting equipment being installed for use by government agencies. So if we are to take him at his word, then his account certainly lends credence to the Intercept article.
