News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

nicelynicely

I firmly believe that at this point it is only the hackers who can stop it.

Until these people experience having all their data publicly exposed there is nothing that will drive the point of privacy home.

Unfortunately western hackers have been silenced already.

How is gathering more data on citizens a good thing?

Do you want to live in a police state? How will this benefit European people?

This rubbish is what leads to civil wars. You (and people like you) think you should know everything about everyone. People fought and died to protect Europeans from that.

You want to go back to fighting for basic rights that were hard won with peoples blood.

How many terrorists are entering Europe using real names and papers? How many have faked photo ids?

Now they know its coming, won't they just stick up on sims first?

This seems stupid to me.

Re:How Americans Became So Sensitive to Harm on Wednesday April 20, 2016 @09:44AM (#11534304)
It is a terrible argument and runs counter to everything that various equality groups have worked hard for over the years.

Using that same argument means throwing away the idea that you are not defined and judged based solely on your sex, gender, race etc.

What you do and who you are is important. What you are (woman, gay, ginger etc.) is not important.

You can call/describe People whatever personally but people will judge you on a personal level about that too.

If you are writing a piece to be published then more appropriate terminology should be used, or you get judged on more professional level along with personal level.

They can sell to Europeans only.

This means they sell black market now to outside EU.

Community. I guess there is huge cultural differences in this regard.

Some people live in tight knit communities. If they are forced out then they lose a massive piece of their life that is not easily replaced.

Different cultures will obviously have different views regarding communities and societies at large.

The Chinese have lost nothing of value. Terrible site.
Thank you for writing that.

The only way this will get fixed is if European people take a stand.

That means taking a stand against america and american politics/war mongering, that is sad but its gone too far.
