wow that's awesome! super cool :), fyi so inspiring that I did something similar for d&d forgotten realms, including a timeline: https://narfman0.github.io/realms-atlas/ fable drove it, opus agents did the work, took 30-45 minutes. (intend on extending to planescape, elaborating on significant historical events, and some text to speech narrating cool events)

Re:Did Meta's Big Settlement Actually Help It? on Thursday August 27, 2026 @01:48PM (#49468562)
Generally aligned on the bizarrely culturally-absent parent responsibility gap, chiming in from the feedback...

It is your responsibility as a parent to raise and care for your kids, regardless of the law. It doesn't just have to do with social media or phone use, it applies to addictions, to behaviors, to their mental and physical makeup. We've had decades of unambiguous feedback that screens and especially social media are bad for kids. Yes its hard. Be the adult and do it! Consider google family link, screen time and app restrictions, taking away the phone for a time, or forever. Know that I and other parents will be cheering for you <3

I recommend reading "the anxious generation", lots of helpful grounded findings and data.

Re:Ask HN: Kodak, VW, Intel – Why big companies fail? on Friday September 20, 2024 @08:49PM (#41606660)
Steve Jobs articulated xerox's failure well, which I think applies mostly to kodak, some to intel, and I've no clue about VW. tldr:

Sales and marketing were the main groups who could impact the company's bottom line. So those were the folks that got promoted and pushed to the top. When they lead the company, they don't focus on products+innovation. Because they failed to innovate (or capitalize on their innovation - e.g. their gui) competitors did (e.g. apple).

They fail to make great products.

Note, you start with

> Not in your control, and can't change

but end with

> you will feel better. You will change

fwiw, it sounds like you landed on agreeing.
