Location: Taiwan (UTC+8), spending time in Southeast Asia Remote: Yes (remote only) Willing to relocate: No Technologies: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Grape/REST APIs, RSpec, Hotwire, AWS, Stripe, web scraping (Watir, Selenium, Nokogiri, Ferrum/CDP), Claude Code / agentic workflows daily Résumé/CV: [https://www.linkedin.com/in/tung-chin-lee-171887102/?isSelfP...] Email: [email protected]

Back end engineer, ~6 years of Ruby on Rails. Most recently 3 years on a Rails 7 gaming platform with 3.8M users: third-party provider API integrations, idempotent Sidekiq jobs for payouts, query tuning on large agent/user trees, and shifts in the IT support rotation. I also set up Claude Code skills and agents for my team's workflow (ticket kickoff, MR descriptions, Jira sync, code review rules).

Side project: WCAG Pulse [https://wcagpulse.com], a website accessibility scanning SaaS built AI-assisted with Claude Code (Rails 7.2, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq). It crawls sites from their sitemaps, renders pages in headless Chrome (Ferrum), runs axe-core and maps issues to WCAG 2.1, with multi-tenant orgs, Stripe subscriptions and PDF/CSV reports.

Started out building Ruby scrapers for Amazon and Newegg (proxy rotation, CAPTCHA solving, daily price tracking).

Looking for: remote back end / Rails roles, full-time or contract (I can invoice through my US LLC). Comfortable working async across time zones.
