Having chipped cards would not prevent this. It would slow down criminals cloning cards but the numbers can still easily be used fraudulently online.

Amazing to me how many people bitch and whine about a free service. If you paid for Facebook access then it would be completely understandable, but you don't. So change the settings or go to Google+ (if that's still around).

I have owned every iPhone model and have never one one issue with Wifi. And I work in the mobile business so I have probably been on 500+ wifi networks.
