Where are you sourcing your data from/what are you trading through?
That’s not true at all? There are companies like Levels who sell CGMs to non-diabetics to try and optimize their health.
It’s far too situational to give a blanket answer. I run a 15 person startup, and my preference is product focused people because of the breadth they can cover. However, we have a number of people who aren’t that way and are just good developers, which is great. My sense would be the narrow/deeper technically a space is, the less preference there is for product focus, but again just my personal guess.
DashFuel | Senior Software Engineers (Backend and Frontend) | Fully Remote (9am – 11am ET overlap required)
DashFuel (http://www.getdashfuel.com) is a vertical SaaS solution for fuel distributors, who move refined petroleum products like gasoline and diesel to gas stations, airports, marinas, and construction sites.
We’re hiring two senior software engineers, one backend and one frontend, to join our fully remote team of seven currently spread between the US, Germany, Albania, and India. We’re a fast growing startup with good financial backing, so are excited to bring people on who can make a multi-year impact.
Backend developer should have experience building APIs and managing AWS infrastructure.
Tech stack is AWS, ECS, Kafka, Python (Django), React, Flutter.
If you’re interested, please reach out to me at miles[at]getdashfuel[dot]com and include a resume in your email.
Where is the bookmarklet? I'm not using the browser extension for privacy purposes as well, but can't find the bookmarklet
This is quite cool. One suggestion would be to have the pronunciation listed in addition to the kanji and audio (at least when I searched I didn't see it, so the only way to learn to pronounce is to use audio). Do you know of something similar for Chinese by any chance?
This assumes that you're power generation always matches demand through time. If you had a sudden spike at night that you don't usually have (like in Texas where people kicked on their heat unexpectedly) and you were using solar, the mismatch would exist and you wouldn't be able to meet the load.
Seems like the site is down. Looking forward to checking out out once back online though.
1) most have RSS (the three you mention all do or it's one jump to a site that enables)
2) most other social sites are themselves collections. If you got big enough, yes they'd mind, but not to start. Hopefully by the time they mind people are submitting to you anyway.
3) seems like a stretch, but ianal, given they expose RSS or APIs currently
What algo are you using to manage the trust system?
Ben Thompson over at Stratechery had a pretty good post on approaching content moderation here
https://stratechery.com/2021/trump-and-twitter/Will be interesting to see what he says next week about AWS, as that's further down the stack than something like Twitter.
Any chance you can share more (post, github, etc)?
