Grit for the win, yet again.
Move fast and break things- FASTER!!!
This just isn't true on the Mac- as noted, Linux installs fine. The same path is open to MS if they want to patch Windows to install on a Mac.
Support transposition and maybe a range finder…
Which is why most everyone does a subscription model. ~$15 per book, even if its 800 pages written.
My travel agent wife was unhappy when they GUIfied Sabre. Luckily there was enough complaints they brought back some terminal access/shortcuts for the ‘advanced’ users…
bubonic, so while he looked at death's door, I don't think the timeline was as strict
I'm assuming if its a bio-lab that its a gain of function version that may be immune to conventional antibiotics.
Actually went to a scout camp as a teenager (in the 80s) and one of our scouts got the plauge. Took a long while for the hospital to identify it and get him on heavy antibiotics because no one had seen it in real life before.
Or it wouldn’t exist at all in in this form…
Any fellow CompuServe users around???
Better framing in their lawsuits- being a ‘market’ is less a thing in a monoculture- i.e. the market for Apple phones vs the market for all Android phones from a variety of makers.
Also in the worldwide market it most definitely isn’t a monopoly in phones at all- which is exactly why the EU had to reform their laws (DMA ect)to get regulatory powers over them.
They have access to each individual’s stream in that case in order to diarize.
Leaving out that apparently high RAM Mac's apparently no longer lose value over time...
Distinction without a difference in this case...
I'm sure plenty of Idahoans and Washingtonians, for instance, take advantage of their neighbor status for high ticket items like this...
Lots, if your time horizon is ~5 years for not buying new hardware, you're good.
Otherwise you'll have to wait to see if the AI circular financing club collapses- if you still have a job, there should be deals to be had...
Made by the people rather than the politicians- the mainline politicians all thought it would/wanted it to fail- they just thought they’d get a boost from catering to a disaffected minority.
Thing is public domain can be used any way you want. The Libre style licenses are specifically engineered to make the source available to the users of the source, no such clause exists in using public domain.
Yep. I'm a network engineer/architect- love the velocity LLMs give me in developing tooling around APIs- but if you don't know the problem domain and why you'd WANT the tools and the actual output that is useful, having the AI would be absolutely useless.
I'm getting somewhat conflicted. There is a Twitter account I follow that has great takes and lots of deeply personal posts... BUT he obviously uses an LLM in his writing pipeline somewhere. Too many AIisms scattered about to ignore.
I'm not thrilled with it, but he is obviously using it to improve his writing overall- to communicate some great ideas that are personal and germane. I've decided that being too inflexible serves no one. If it is true slop, I'll not revisit the writer in the future- if they are using AI to polish writing that at its core is a unique voice, I'll accept it and learn to live with it...
Praying too? You're a busy dude!
You could take away 100% of billionaires capital to redistribute and end up in the exact same place in 4 years.
As someone whose had rheumatic fever, your immune system can definitely prime itself for the wrong target.
I assume using Swift means cross-platform support is tertiary at best?
I have mostly Macs in my workflow so not an issue for me, but its good to have that plainly stated if so.
Being able to edit a long video to pull out different speakers segments automatically or do automatic edits of speaker transitions would be great- I'll give it a try and see what scenarios are best suited for our use cases...
I'm guessing he was thinking the same as my first instinct that it may have similar effects as carbon monoxide- preferentially binding with hemoglobin. But it doesn't if you're not physically displacing the oxygen.
Has other effects like acidosis but not oxygen depletion.
With the caveat that you may end up paying the costs of the other sides high priced legal team.
