FYI you can run this tool locally, but it cannot save the results locally. It requires Google Drive to upload the data to a spreadsheet. File download/screenshot does support local execution though.

Can't schedule locally either, only in the cloud.

I agree with everything you've said, except the last point. The federal government has shown that it will do what's necessary to maintain the status quo. As each COVID benefit runs out, another one is added to replace it. How long can they keep this going? I don't know, but I'm not willing to bet against all the people who own 1+ homes and the politicians who represent them.

I personally delayed buying a house in Toronto since 2013, thinking that it's too hot and it can't keep going up. I missed out massively. I don't recommend young Canadians to wait, but rather buy your primary residence if you can before you're completely priced out of the market. Just don't put all your investment into housing in the GTA, it may pop one day.

On Android, in the old days, an app could be registered as a "Device Administrator". When you set up an Exchange account on the device, the email client requested the user to activate device admin before it would sync email. If the user clicked the activate button, the email client would have permission to reset password/wipe device, etc. [0] This didn't require enrolling into any MDM software.

I'd wager that the firmware came pre-infected by the manufacturer (or an update to the firmware has the infection).

Based on the reddit thread at least one of the devices is from a no-name manufacturer.

I used SimpleTax for the first time this year and it's a lot more intuitive than StudioTax which I used in the past. It may not be ideal for every situation, but it was much simpler for me.

“Our general guidance is that the total cost of the early adopter program lease will be less than the price of a car—but how nice a car will depend on the number of Spots leased and how long the customer will be leasing the robot.”

Honda Clarity PHEV is essentially the successor to the discontinued Volt (if you can get past the looks!)

I believe part of the problem is that current hybrid transmissions don't handle towing well.

Why does everyone forget the Leaf?
