And, for those who missed it, Dirtywave M8 has recently been made available on iOS as a $30 app.

Great read. Highly recommended. Thanks for the link.

It seems to be intermittent right now. Internet Archive can help.

Unfortunately, this work perpetuates the misunderstanding of Bell's theorem and its implications with respect to hidden variable theories. See the Scholarpedia article on Bell's theorem for an in-depth discussion, including quotes from Bell himself, deeply frustrated at the misunderstanding.

What about the 5090?

You think you don't have a context window? Try coming back to your own uncommented code after half a year.
We ſhould ſtart a club.
Great writing. Maybe you should write more about your experiences. I would gladly read more.
What is worth creating when anyone can create anything?

B1 is exactly 1 meter tall.
Re:Discovery of a new OpenAI agent message board on Saturday September 05, 2026 @05:06AM (#49574710)

Encrypted data should be indistinguishable from gibberish.

Reality is catching up to science-fiction. In "Person of Interest", the Machine circumvented the limitation of having its memory deleted every night, by hiring humans at a data-entry company to manually re-type its memory back in every morning.

Re:Formalizing Fermat's Last Theorem on Friday September 04, 2026 @07:37PM (#49571459)
There is a lot of space in, you know, space, for people who live long enough to travel.
Re:Formalizing Fermat's Last Theorem on Friday September 04, 2026 @07:36PM (#49571456)
Roughly, yes. See B. Werner (1997) “Sets in types, types in sets”.
If only you had bothered to check the settings, you would have found the option to keep your music files where they are when adding to the iTunes library. It's been there all along, and it's still there in SoundJam's current reincarnation as Music.app.
Re:Oracle bans AI-generated code from OpenJDK on Saturday August 08, 2026 @07:08AM (#49220687)
Keep telling yourself that.
> Jensen Huang disagrees and has said AI is a marathon.

Of course he'd say that; he wants to keep his shovels flying off the shelves.

> Have a strong anti-counterfeit strategy. Don’t overlook this.

Would like to see this highly non-obvious point expanded upon.

Re:UHF X11: X11 Built for VisionOS and Apple Vision Pro on Sunday June 21, 2026 @09:23AM (#48618764)
Indeed, it's annoying that there doesn't seem to be an Apple-approved method for customizing the outer display.
Re:Epic Games announces Lore version control system on Wednesday June 17, 2026 @06:14PM (#48577686)
I found the ability to merge unrelated repositories very useful when collecting various bits of work I did separately and combining it into a single library.
My number one request: let me block specific sites from my search results.
Re:Haskell Foundation 2026 Update on Thursday May 21, 2026 @08:12AM (#48221377)
I built an example project showing how to build shared libraries in Haskell, in 2019.

If they're using a LLM to make those decisions, then they're fundamentally unable to provide the reasons for those decisions, because of how LLMs work.

You're probably breaking EU law by building this nightmare.

Re:MacBook Neo Is a 'Shock' to the PC Industry: Asus Co-CEO on Wednesday March 11, 2026 @03:24PM (#47340008)
FYI, the very recently released Marathon with the BattleEye rootkit works fine on a maximally trimmed down Windows 10 LTSC, which is what I'm running on my PC (personal console).
Some people should definitely be getting Repetitive Strain Injury from all the hyping up of LLMs.

Join us in ##dependent on Libera IRC. We continue to talk about this stuff all the time, with a focus on Martin-Löf intuitionistic type theory.
