Encryption cannot and will not ever be stopped due to it being math.

Oh, and make sure to use steganography when appropriate.

I remember someone from here posting about how the user contacted Feinstein and got the most boilerplate response possible. They honestly do not care about the citizens at this point.

Thanks for the tip. The Cryptome archives are a treasure!
Exactly. Just like what the other poster said, the World Police BS has to stop now.
That is wonderful news to read. In America, the legal systems convictions really carry no valid meaning. The common person gets punished with a felony for taking a crap, while the "elite" get away with literal murder.
While I don't necessarily agree, I thank you for taking the time to explain.
Why is moderation so heavy ham fisted on this site? I've read the entire thread (as it gives a good idea what to expect as a tourist there) and I have yet to find a comment from anyone that could possibly break some silly rule. People here are intelligent adults, and if something hurts their "feelings" too bad.

People need free discussion, ESPECIALLY during this scamdemic where everyone is seriously on edge.

Edit: If people get banned they just open up a new account. I've lost track how many accounts I've gone thru over the years. Yes, many were banned for unknown/irrational reasons, but the point is people just open a new account and done.

Many people are searching for it as we speak. Please update if you do happen to find a copy.
You know, treating tourists poorly has very far reaching consequences for Thailand. Before this commotion poeple would possibly only avoid that one particular resort, now people are talking about never visiting Thailand in the future after what has happened to the guy.

I find it insulting that a manager at a resort would treat their customers this way and I hope people think twice before patronizing this establishment in future.

The customer is always right.

Unfortunately, there is so much that needs to be addressed but has not and will not in the foreseeable future unless something drastic changes.

To the comment below that is "dead" you are completely correct IMO. HN has too many gov't lurkers here manipulating votes. Most dead comments are gold.

DHS was already in massive trouble with congress for stuffing people into unmarked vans like this was a 3rd-world country. Not to mention the whole department is unconstitutional.

It's extremely unsettling that my tax dollars go to waste like this to essentially ruin someone's life. The people now have records and all the unnecessary paperwork to go along with it.

The furthest I would be willing to compromise with this regime (won't call them a proper government) is to allow them to tax our substances. It's better than what they are getting as it is, because all they are doing right now is locking poor, innocent people up.

Prohibition and criminalization of mere substances never has, and will never work for us. Everyone I know who wishes to take drugs does so without as much as a single thought to the law.
