messick

I’m 100% absolutely judging anyone still taking a paycheck from FB in this day and age. It speaks volumes about their character.
Re:Less than half of Americans know that alcohol is a carcinogen on Thursday December 03, 2020 @12:47AM (#25285831)
“The state” has nothing to do with it. This was voted into law by regular voters. Think of it every time someone assumes the common citizen should be involved in writing laws.
Re:My Resignation from the Intercept on Thursday October 29, 2020 @11:41PM (#24938915)
Hopefully somewhere we never have to hear from either of them ever again.
Lol.
Re:Facebook and Twitter Cross a Line in Censorship on Sunday October 18, 2020 @01:51AM (#24815782)
Nobody who isn’t too far gone on the Trump Train thinks the bribery story is anything but horse shit. That’s what “unlikely to cost him the election” means.
Re:Facebook and Twitter Cross a Line in Censorship on Sunday October 18, 2020 @01:48AM (#24815774)
His whole schtick is “it was all a Russian hoax!” with Trump. He is the opposite of objective. And wrong.
I don’t read the Tesla subreddit, but HN is so full of Musk sycophants that I’m sure a more pro-Tesla place exists.
That’s real bad news for Hunter’s 2020 election campaign!
This will help you with future Sec 230 hot takes: https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20200531/23325444617/hello...
Wow! Bad news for Hunter’s election campaign!
Lol. Although I guess that’s true in a “not letting Trumpers forget he is a Russian stooge” kind of sense.
It’s The Federalist. No one needs to read further than the URL to know how separate from reality everything the piece is.
Re:Tesla dissolves its PR department on Tuesday October 06, 2020 @02:23PM (#24700804)
How many roofs of cars from those manufactures were torn off during the drive home from the dealer?
Re:TikTok to be banned from US app stores from Sunday on Friday September 18, 2020 @05:27PM (#24522045)
Well, some of us are under 50 years old and just screaming out “Commies!” just hits different.
Re:California Businesses Leave the State by the Thousands on Sunday September 13, 2020 @09:36PM (#24465797)
Guessing the NYTimes has less than 3 people on its board that would be put on trial for war crimes at the ICC if the US didn’t forbid it, which isn’t something an org with Yoo, Kissinger, and Rumsfeld can say.
Geez, people are really going the extra mile trying to justify something that 100% happened because Trump heard about how the TikTok Teens ruined the Tulsa rally.
Re:Blackstone to Acquire Ancestry.com for $4.7B on Thursday August 06, 2020 @06:47PM (#24076234)
Ancestry.com was founded by BYU grad students and is based in Provo. It couldn’t be more “Mormon”.
Re:Twitter internal panel linked to account hijackings on Wednesday July 15, 2020 @11:34PM (#23855473)
They own the non “real” one too, he’s just too much of a tool to use it.
Sorry, too busy writing down everyone who doesn’t think “silence is complicity” just in case their resume comes by my desk someday.
Interesting that you choose Watts and Compton. Almost like you choose two random neighborhoods you believe to be disadvantaged.

How exactly do your friends volunteer in this two places that just happen to show up in Dr Dre songs from the early 90’s?

Re:America is giving up on the pandemic? on Sunday June 07, 2020 @05:05PM (#23450820)
I guess it’s certainly “possible” that US cops justifiably shoot and kill more people every year than most counties have done of the last hundred (assuming they have ever done it at all), just not very possible.
Re:America is giving up on the pandemic? on Sunday June 07, 2020 @04:58PM (#23450755)
“The media” isn’t causing dudes in aloha shirts to go to protests with a bunch of guns.
Re:America is giving up on the pandemic? on Sunday June 07, 2020 @04:57PM (#23450741)
Pretty sure OP was calling the people peacefully protesting police brutality as “the extremists”.
Re:America is giving up on the pandemic? on Sunday June 07, 2020 @04:55PM (#23450726)
Nah man, the cops don’t have it in them to actually destroy the country. Those extremists will quit long before then.
Re:Amazon refuses to sell book on Covid-19 and lockdowns on Saturday June 06, 2020 @01:49AM (#23437124)
A much better study came out the same day as the retraction saying pretty much the same thing, so don’t hold your breath.
That’s missing 5 or 6 zeros in order to be considered large.
It’s the opposite. Tree Law!!!! is about people melting down over stuff a real lawyer wouldn’t even take a phone call about. That’s why they are on Reddit melting down about it.
Re:Magic Leap CEO Rony Abovitz Is Out on Friday May 29, 2020 @05:51PM (#23355972)
Wow, your totally true story and real story flies in the face of the fact that Switches are practically completely sold out worldwide.
Less than half of the employees in the Bah Area work at Apple Park.
Re:Update to L.A.'s stay-at-home orders on Tuesday May 12, 2020 @09:00PM (#23162181)
Guess if "better" means a worse deaths-per-million stat than even the US.
