Re:OpenAI models are coming to Google Cloud on Thursday October 22, 2026 @04:57AM (#50192943)
AI hosting currently generates revenue, so the choice is trivial. Building an LLM model is company PR, while hosting another’s model provides immediate income.
Re:Unintended workplace safety consequences of minimum wages on Thursday January 30, 2025 @02:07PM (#42880998)
You should really look at what happens in countries with miniman wage. It's not really like you fear.

Then run the cron every minute. As you can see with his example, it doesn't even run every 5 mins.

Re:Jitsi Meet Flutter SDK on Monday August 14, 2023 @04:19AM (#37118659)
At my company it's Google and it's history of deprecating products that many people and/or companies depended on. Flutter is OS, but it can't survive without a big company to sponsor development (at this stage).

Why so bitter? Most complaints are just wrong... :)

Why should somebody not upgrade packages to the last stable ones (and patch exploits) and why a good developer should be also a good DevOps? That's not like real life works.

So what of your complains are not because of bitterness (that they want to charge big companies for using what they pay programmers to develop)? :)

In the winter tomatoes have no taste. Real tomatoes are a summer plant. Ask your parents. ;)
