Works for me on FF mobile. Do you see the cookie banner initially?
Re:KeePassXC – Cross-Platform Password Manager on Thursday February 17, 2022 @01:42PM (#30376902)
Same here. Been my setup for almost 10 years. Encrypted db file in an encrypted volume. Multiple offline and online backups.

Unless you drive by car and say you are in 'transit'. Nobody in Schengen will/can stop you (or even check). With the exception of the border police having reasonable doubt you are a border commuter/worker.
> the problem with defi hacks, from the perspective of the hacker, is you get a bunch of eth, which is a lot harder to hide and launder than BTC.

Actually it's quite easy with something like tornado.cash.

Re:Tell HN: Thank You Dang on Friday November 27, 2020 @01:23AM (#25225982)
Thank you Dang!
Would a co-founder in that case be beneficial? Assuming you both take the risk, it's less hard on you if it fails. Obviously pros and cons with this.
Agree with this sentiment. When you're in the moment, it may feel as if you're loosing time. But failing should be the best school you ever have. You might had to do research on X or train some aspects of your development skills etc. You always take that with you. The experience itself, is never lost.
Prefer Signal myself too. It's a bit hard to switch over from WhatsApp and tried to use it at least with my spouse. One feature that Telegram and WhatsApp miss, is being able to send yourself a message. On Signal you can do this and it's very convenient for taking notes, sending passwords (laptop <--> phone) and for saving bookmarks. I used to share interesting bookmarks from HN to my email, but that quickly got cumbersome to sort out.
Re:Blackballed by PayPal, Sci-Hub switches to Bitcoin on Friday June 26, 2020 @03:37AM (#23649658)
Also consider using a stable coin like DAI, USDC etc if your use case is to mimick somewhat of a bank account without crazy volatility.
I'm going to assume that Apple will do everything to maintain their cut. Even if what you said would be possible, I would expect Apple to update their terms of service to abolish it.
Re:All-in-One DNS block list on Saturday June 06, 2020 @11:27AM (#23439810)
Check your Nextdns.io logs and see what gets blocked. Then add the blocked domain (or the whole root domain) to the Whitelist. The whitelist always overrides any blocklist entry.
I've started using 11ty recently and can recommend it as a Jekyll on steroids (and maintained).

Just as a note, the link in your profile to your CSS framework seems incorrect. Groeten!
My impression is that Andorra has a favourable tax regime and is close to Spain and France...
Re:Xiaomi Recording ‘Private’ Web and Phone Use on Thursday April 30, 2020 @05:51PM (#23036588)
On a Xiaomi device myself. Recently I've setup Nextdns.io to resolve all the DNS requests through it. Very frequent callbacks to Xiaomi servers for tracking. Blocked a bunch of them now, but it's half a solution.

Great story.
Re:Merry Christmas HN on Wednesday December 25, 2019 @05:51PM (#21880941)
Merry Christmas from Spain! As someone else mentioned here, HN remains one of the few places I like to read everyone's comments and keep on learning.
Re:An Overview of the Monad on Thursday December 05, 2019 @06:52AM (#21711643)
Didn't even know there existed a .christmas domain.
Re:Ask HN: What can Firefox do to get you to make the switch? on Wednesday November 27, 2019 @01:09AM (#21645666)
Same here. And I do miss it as it saves me two taps (open menu -> refresh)
I started using Joplin recently - https://joplinapp.org/ - it has a browser plugin. It can store things locally and then you can use the search engine to look up your bookmarks, together with your notes, tags.
Re:PayPal stops payouts to models on Pornhub on Thursday November 14, 2019 @04:09PM (#21539455)
I know of Spankchain[1] who are working on solving this on the Ethereum network.

Otherwise, I see DAI token being ideal for this coupled with locking your DAI in MakerDAO [2] to earn interest.

My favorite challenge is making complex UI's work for the end-user, while keeping product/company goals in scope.

Have been remote for the past 6 years. Open to join a product focused team who sees my profile fit!
