>Advertising wondrous things.

This line bangs

Bus drivers are not making MW anywhere.
They ask for proof, and then when you give it try to hide your comment through downvoting. Followed by saying that it doesn't even matter.

Very topical example of why these "benevolent censorship" schemes are are worse than the problem they are trying to fix.

Ben Schapiro has literally written books about how terrible the alt-right is, yet he that is what he is frequently called.
And who at the companies are making decisions about policy? Employees.
>How would the food arrive at the store?

Large, also reusable containers.

In rural areas many people feed their table scraps to chickens.
>hackers tied to Russian intelligence hacked the DNC

That was debunked this summer.

There is a coinvent sidestep to this issue.

Distributing sexual images of someone without their consent is a clear crime against that person. Children can not consent.

This is very fair criticism for standard jobs like a regular software developer.

For a role like this, where outsized skill of someone who is and needs to be elite should be rewarded with enormously outsized pay, I think this a good model.

Suppose you have transportaion company that owns 80% of the market share for everything transported on the roads. By car, van, truck, semi, everything.

Suppose your company also has a team that inspects public bridges to make sure they don't collapse.

Is it really altruistic, or given your market share is it a cost of business?

It wasn't an internal memo.

Marked down for spreading alternative facts.

Diversity of thought - of which google is now less of.
>But it's interesting how I just got swarmed by 3 commenters.

Losing an argument? Better accuse the other side of being paid shills.

Corporation caught in a scandal over censoring political speech against the right?

Better have the The Verge write a puff piece on them.

Re:Why Can’t Americans Get a Raise? on Friday July 14, 2017 @11:16AM (#14770422)
The other poster is comparing wage growth, not gross salaries.
Re:Why Can’t Americans Get a Raise? on Friday July 14, 2017 @11:14AM (#14770411)
Nearly all of that spending was simply added directly the national debt, very little actually came out of the general fund.

>- Farmers in Alabama are fretting that crops may rot in the ground for a lack of workers to bring in the harvest.

The oil field boom in ND didn't have a problem getting skilled workers from across the country to live in tents because they paid them well.

They AL farmers are not worried about finding workers, they want to lowball American laborers so they can throw their hands the air and claim that they need a supply of immigrants laborers, which they can exploit.

Last time I checked the Electoral College is the election.
We live in a democracy, which has legitimized him by electing him President.
>There is no "right to purchase an electronic device without replaceable parts".

It's part of living in a free society, which means you have the right to do what you want by default.

So by default, yes, you have that right to free exchange of goods and services.

>Access to specialized equipment by repair shops is not a problem.

This is already not true for independent auto repair shops. Manufacturer specific computer diagnostic tools can cost them tens of thousands each and often they don't have the same level of tools as the dealers.

>You do realize that the disc world books aren't actually economics research papers, yes?

Based on your downvotes, it seems that people on HN think that fiction can prove economic theory.

That's not how time works.
This was in 2010 - so according to you that makes it President Obama's fault.
Labor is the largest cost for a restaurant.
e) you have to self-police against CP and terrorist groups using your servers to host their illegal content.
By removing subsidies. You are making a great argument for why subsidies should never have been put in place.
That is completely false.
What about it?
