You may defend your employer but it is bad taste to do so using sock puppet accounts.
Kagi is not an original source.
Sony being sleazy again. You start to wonder why they pick on the wrong people.
Chainguard effectively held everyone hostage, and forced everyone hosting container images and wanting to be online, to trust their builds and then saying they did it for "free" to get free advertisement. Incredibly irresponsible behavior. They used this as a big fat advertisement board.
Dont trust us with information lol.
There are exactly 0 datacentres that exceed 1GW in the USA today.
In the US the most common deployed size is below 5MW?
Dont know why i can't reply to the person commenting below. But where's the statistics? Who has these datacenters out in the field?
Pionen in sweden is a datacenter in a bunker. The Pirate Bay used to be hosted there.
Given the writers domain, and ease of getting high quality answers for free. I will turn it around. You may get my reply, for a fee of 25000 euroes. :)
Since time has come for cutting the fat on initiatives like this website creator. I think other initiatives has gone under the ground, and companies have not answered to why they're cutting those initiatives. In job postings equality suddenly is not as prioritized, and if they are, what i hear it is not prioritized during interview rounds.
Who has to answer for these expenditures?
Waiting for it to die and will not buy another of theirs. Piece of shit.
I have autohotkey for remapping. The issue is when i boot into a rpi with a new build, i don't want to pollute it with custom xbind mappings.
I do, but when on the windows mode the keys mentioned are in the wrong positions.
--
Edit and if i switch to the macOS mode. The right alt-gr key is not mapped correctly.
Yeah on the mac it works fine. The keyboard just shipped with the Left Alt and Left Windows key in the correct positions, but they are mapped opposite in the firmware. Imagine how maddening it was in the beginning.
Where are the PRs coming in? I see a repo without source code.
I bought a K4 Nordic version, only to learn none of their software supports it. So i can't reconfigure the firmware.
The keyboard has swapped Super/Alt (Windows/Alt) on the windows layout which is so annoying. I hate spending money on hardware so i'm living with it, but i curse the engineer that burned the prom every day.
Why does the website have to be so trippy when scrolling? It fucks with my eyes.
So what? I want the best model at the cheapest price. You guys illegally trained on books, movies, audiobook etc.. Why should we care?
I wonder why there's so much resistance here against chinese models. Sure at my employer claude is used, but at home? I am just happy using my z.ai sub for 20x i got in September last year, coupled with the 39 dollar tier of kimi. I use them in pi, with a collection of extensions i curated myself for this iterationm of models, and a couple glue extensions we have made.
At home i feel way more productive, the speed of my queries are second to none with kimi 2.6, and handing review over to glm5.2 means i can juggle the small models in my brainstorm to commit workflow.
That doesn't explain the discrepancy
A real headscratcher isn't it? And from a government that is supposedly priding itself on small government. How should companies navigate this? What's the framework they should operate within?
Wowzers. It's been some time since export controls were something i'd see in software. Interesting times.
The server is actually written in PHP. There is a lua module for php but it has not seen any love since 2020.
Thank you for your advice. Will have to dig to understand what it would take to write an interop for PHP.
I like music, and i have a diverse taste.
Say you were to embed a lua engine today. Which implementation would you choose? I also consider syntax important. So if you were to choose what seemed sane, but also something you saw working in 5 years.
I am asking because i want to implement plugins in my media server, however i want to guard them in vm's i can control.
To download apps on an iphone, you need an apple id. This is just something every apple user has accepted since its inception. I would also be surprised if the majority of macOS/OSX users didn't have an apple id/icloud account.
This is not a new concept. What's new is that microsoft is enforcing it. But making it less obvious on how to disable the requirement when you install the OS. Or in most cases require hacks to do so.
Matter of time before they where hit by the market prices. If you take the day of today, and calculate back. You can see how long apple locks in the prices for their hardware supplies. Interesting note to make. Wonder if they will increase the duration in the future or become more risk averse.
Fully agree with you. I am a frontend developer. On my work machine spotify uses maybe 300mb of memory, but on my home pc with opensuse? Image what it uses... 1.1GB.. The same as my brave browser with 4 tabs open. What is going on.
The average consumer doesn't care about signing up for an account, so that's an easy win for getting them in the email system and thereby tie all the telemetry events to an easily recognizable account. Imagine how valuable this information is.
Now you have system level events tied to a user, that might also purchase an office product and pump out more events.
Are you aware of how much purchasing power 200 dollars is in china, brazil, thailand or india is? This is an extremely arrogant take.
