I always used Alfred for this. A snippet for {clipboard} which effectively pastes in plain text. I also have workflows to manipulate text that are basically: pbpaste | (do something) | pbcopy

On iOS, Octal.
Reminds me of Scorched Earth.

Documentary about the Portuguese Timex factory that assembled the ZX Spectrum computer in the 80's. English subtitles available.
Re:The vertical bar (|) is the best HTML page title separator on Wednesday January 22, 2025 @06:27AM (#42791591)
I'm a graphic designer and avoid it like the plague. Because the bottom extends to the descender instead of the baseline, it always looks misaligned.

MailMate did that for me.

I stopped using Adobe a couple of years ago, replaced it with the Affinity suite. Publisher still lacks a lot of InDesign features but it gets the job done.

For photography I'm using FastRawViewer for culling and Photomator for editing.

> Unless you want, e.g., a destructive crop

Isn't this achieved by enabling the "Delete cropped pixels" option?

From Pixelmator help:

> Select "Delete cropped pixels" to permanently delete the cropped areas of an image or deselect it to crop the image nondestructively and hide the cropped areas of an image instead.

Still there for me.

Egg whites were used to make communion wafers and starch habits so they had a lot of yolks going around.

Yes. The free version gives you basic stats, the pro version gives you detailed stats.
Through Bandcamp itself, social media, music blogs...
> Europe, US, Canada and Australia is your whole world?

Of course not.

> I’m in Asia btw, largest continent of the world.

Those were only a few examples from the top of my head. We also had sales in S. Korea and Japan.

My opinion is based on the stats Bandcamp provides me. Care to elaborate on why you proclaim otherwise?
Bandcamp is widely used all over the world. My band made 6 times more money from Bandcamp than from all the streaming sites combined. People from all over Europe, USA, Canada and Australia bought our music.
Why does it need access to my google account?

If they follow their app pricing model, it will cost €13,55 more in my country for absolutely no reason.

I've also been using Divvy since as long as I can remember but it hasn't been updated in 4 years, looks like abandonware.
I love dark humour but this isn't even funny or clever.
Re:Always paste without formatting on macOS on Saturday November 04, 2023 @05:31PM (#38145339)
I've been using TextExpander for this behaviour for a long time. I remapped my "§" (ISO-PT keyboard) key to paste as simple text.
Re:LogoScale – A method for vectorizing small, crappy logos on Monday September 11, 2023 @06:23AM (#37465183)
I haven't used Inkscape in a while but you can compare them yourself. You can use Vector Magic's web interface to rasterize an image, you won't be able do download it though.

I'm a graphic designer and Vector Magic[1] still is my gold standard for vectorizing logos. Expensive but worth it.

As is expected from such a shady character. He also spoke out against government subsidies after receiving billions in such subsidies [1].

It could result in a competing product and give users another option/reason to ditch Adobe products.

In Portuguese Francisco is usually shortened as Xico or Chico.
Just middle mouse click, or ctr/cmd + click.
This just shows Steve Huffman's incompetence and lack of foresight as CEO. It seems he only noticed the mods depend on 3rd party apps after the API price announcement. He should have implemented the announced moderation tools first and then kill the API.
