Good social skills require more than just being "sociable" though. Intelligence and logical thinking play an important role too so I doubt that focusing _only_ on soft skills is the best way to become sociable in a well-rounded way.
IIRC, Bret Weinstein said something like "invest in skills that upgrade your thinking". Coincidentally, many such skills, eg. math and coding, happen to be exactly those where AI also excels at, so I wouldn't rule out learning something simply because AI happens to be good at it.
My pet theory is that companies deliberately stick with terrible chat apps in order to discourage employees from chatting and keep them "working" instead. In my experience, it's not a good tradeoff though.
Thank you for the unban! I'll behave.
@4gotunameagain Really appreciate vouching for me, thank you.
> Comparing Israeli's to Nazi's is a common antisemitic trope.
That doesn't mean the comparison is inaccurate.
True. Hopefully one day brown people will be considered people too.
> The only difference is that now that liberal Zionism is dead and has been dead since the death of Itzak Rabin and the demographic explosion of the settler movement there's really no one to stop them from proceeding with these plans.
Also it's a self-reinforcing cycle. The far right keeps testing what they can get away with, becoming increasingly emboldened. The leftists are packing up. Those in the middle see global backlash grow and realize there's no going back to pre-2023 world, so they might as well go all-in with the right. Israel is like a heroin addict using the very thing that's destroying them, in order to cope with the damage it already caused. Without intervention it generally doesn't end well.
> You don’t call it colonialism when it’s Muslims migrating en masse to Europe
Mass migration generally does more harm than good and should be reserved for very exceptional cases like natural disasters.
> you don’t oppose ethno-states when they are Arab states that have cleansed all their Jews
Such as Saudi Arabia? Seeing it (starting to) fall apart is my favorite thing about 2026 lmao.
> and you don’t give a shit about actual genocides.
I do care about them all but it makes sense to focus especially on the one being carried out with my tax money.
It's okay to have an agenda, just be honest about it please. Anti-Zionists tend to be pretty open about their agenda: opposing colonialism, ethno-states, genocide etc. It's telling that modern Zionists often seem less willing to express theirs.
The irony here is so perfect that I don't know what to say. Absolutely masterful.
Thanks for sharing. At this point I'm so numb to the destruction that this piece of trivia got to me more than the new satellite photos.
I'm immune to Hasbara and not wasting more time debating it, but just leaving some Wikipedia snippets below as a kind of a "community note".
> They never cancelled their original charter
Wikipedia [0]:
This document [the 2017 charter] reflects our position for now (...) The old charter was a product of its era, 30 years ago. We live in a different world today.
> Also, Hamas literally operated the 'March of Return' (demanding the 'right of return') that year.
Wikipedia [1]:
The first demonstrations were organized by independent activists, but the initiative was soon endorsed by Hamas, the governing party of Gaza, as well as other major factions in Gaza.

Interesting insights, thanks. I was raised Protestant (in Europe) and have similar impression of Evangelicals. I'll never be able to wrap my head around some of that shit.
That caught my attention too. It's refreshing to see at least one Christian Zionist showing concern for Arab Christians though.
By all means please enlighten me, what's so unreasonable about it?
> It is well known in Israel and for it's enemy that on holidays there are less people. Nothing weird or reasons to doubt it.
I'm Israel's enemy and still had no idea about that. Beyond stupid if true.
Yeah some people really go overboard with their rhetoric, I can only imagine how awful you must feel. Anyway, can we now get back to discussing how entire cities in Gaza have been razed and their inhabitants displaced or killed?
Allowing international journalists in would make the genocide even harder to deny and at that point there's no more returning to the "current situation". Regarding the border, at least for Hamas the 1967 borders would be just fine:

This. It's just so much more compelling to follow these discussions as they happen, compared to reading a historical correspondence or something. Of course I'd much prefer if there weren't genocides taking place at all.
Also, who exactly "loses justification": just the individual perpetrators or their whole collective? I hope you wouldn't say that every black slave lost their right for freedom after Nat Turner's gang killed civilians? [0]
[0] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nat_Turner#Rebellion
Revenge and collective punishment may be natural human reactions to a terror attack but that doesn't make them justified. Especially when those in charge anticipated the attack and deliberately exploited it.
I hear that myth repeated sometimes but never with any evidence. Like a masterful propagandist, "monideas" has a talent for making claims that are hard to believe but also hard to prove wrong.
Ukraine gets way too much coverage to pull off any decent whataboutism. Try Sudan.
"In Islam, taqiyya is the practice of concealing one's faith or religious identity."
Joke's on you, I'm a former Christian but no longer belong to any religion. Did you have any actual points you wanted to share?
Dismantling Israel doesn't necessarily mean Israeli Jews or anyone else would have to relocate.
> But your comment illustrates why Israel needs to exist and will continue to exist.
Because otherwise common sense will take over? Might take a while to get used to but let's give it a go.
Sorry but I honestly believe that the exact opposite is true. If I'm running low on resources, I'd be more careful with whatever I have left, not less.
> Replacing governments, hard sanctions perhaps - yes.
I'm on board.
To be clear, I'm not advocating ethnic cleansing and never will.
No country has some divine right to exist. If a nation keeps crossing every line, there's no reason to keep it around. How is this not obvious.
