You are not alone! I have been dealing with burnout since the pandemic began. For me it was the inability to focus on the simplest tasks that made me realize I could no longer ignore the problem. Therapy has helped a lot.

I second this. I was sold on the Embody and went to try it and I thought it wasn't for me almost as soon as I sat on it. I ended up getting a Cosm which surprise me personally, because I sort of liked all the knobs in all the other chairs, but I really liked how it adjusted to my body.
Try all the chairs with an open mind and listen to your body

Same! I tried gitea for a while but I found out what I really needed was a git remote I could access over ssh. It is way easier to manage

If you arrive to México in a plane you can expect random searches. I get my luggage opened around 1 in 10 times. They also use x-ray for screening luggage on arrival.
If you are driving or walking sometimes you just say hello and that's about it. But I also have gotten my car searched, specially if crossing by myself.
It is a bit more relaxed on Christmas time, when a lot of people cross the border.

Moving to a country where they speak the language you are trying to learn kinda helps.
I've lived in the US for 15 years. At first I wouldn't even be able to even tell words apart, so listening to a lot of people and trying to make the sounds they were making was my first challenge. Then I knew like 200 words so my conversations were a bit limited so memorizing words was the next goal. And then I would get into more interesting conversations and people would use rare words which everybody seem to know what they meant. And for that you can only read a lot ^_^
Then you can get fancy and try to reduce your foreign accent for extra points.
But being exposed to the language is a must, hence living in a country where it is spoken helps. My french is kinda awful (I've never lived in france) but I can order food at restaurants which is nice.
