Re:Zero-Click Spyware Delivered via Targeted Ads: AdFection on Thursday October 15, 2026 @07:03PM (#50111585)
No, it just means it costs more and you have to care a lot more about targeting.
Compared to most Americans, it is safe to say that we have a Zionist mainstream media right now. The American people do not support the genocide in Gaza the media mostly does. The billionaires mostly do. We have concert tours being canceled for the temerity to say free Palestine.
All of you misread would and put your own spin on it. She wasn’t even hired yet, and he had never met her.
That’s only true in the public Zeitgeist, there is a huge preference among portions of the workforce for male leadership stated or unstated. This is not a good thing. I literally worked with a guy who was about to quit because a woman would boss him around and she was about 10,000 times as qualified as he was

That’s a hilarious idea. Given the Supreme Court of today, afraid of legislating from the bench? Are you serious?

Which is something like less than one percent of websites, and this technology is deployed much, much more widely.

Well, that makes one of us. Replacing deterministic processes that work with lossy processes makes no sense. You’re literally reinventing the wheel every single time, what are you talking about?
Look at the mayor of London. Same shit, different city.
Only if it was not something they constantly already do.
That’s because fundamentally you need those strategic items to have space to do those particular detail items. If you have the best strategy and no execution, you can probably hire for that. If you have no strategy and decent execution, you are driving the Titanic into the iceberg.

Many databases do not actually offer this or pretend to offer this, but it is really just one thing.
Re:Nothing works and everyone is euphoric on Friday July 24, 2026 @11:32AM (#49037157)
That’s a hilarious comment in the world where companies are getting hacked left and right and consumer data is widely available from how many pieces of software have piss poor security. You might work at companies as where dumb bureaucrats have a tight grip on things, but in most of the world, security practices are not holding us back, they simply don’t exist.

There’s a bunch of features in compatibility, performance, and cost reasons not to choose these cloud hosted managed databases.

#8 is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entity%E2%80%93attribute%E2%80... and it’s one upside is that it’s very flexible and it’s downside is literally everything else. If you can be 100% certain that all of the destination value types are the same then it can have compressibility benefits.
It’s the same reason why everyone doesn’t wanna read LLM generated blog posts. The agreement used to be generally that you would spend more time writing than I would have to spend reading and when the agreement changes the quality changes as well.
Yeah, this is my favorite one, the number of CEOs I’ve had tell me that they were frustrated how little everyone else was putting in compared to them while they’ve had hundreds of times of the return is hilarious.
I made a media center replacement for something like plex or jellyfin, streaming video or audio whenever I am; transcoding, subtitles, specialized dupe and renaming metadata. A little automated datawarehouse that manages all my output in an object store. My own tag system of course. A personalized eval system for llm tools.
This is what people said about Trump and the Republicans. Of course they wouldn’t do mass deportation. It’s all just rhetoric.
He’s sitting at 30% approval while starting wars and not releasing the Epstein files. You are saying pure cope right now.
Oh, they were aware from the phrasing they ate implying that we’ve already spent enough and we should stop, which is exactly what Trump was saying and is totally stupid if you want the world not to be run by Vladimir Putin.
He ran a government institution that recklessly cut public spending and hurt us all. What are you talking about?

That has little to do with building code and a lot to do with customers and releases and operations - giant companies don’t just magically demo software to people.

There’s so many layers today that can’t exist if this is the way forward.

As someone who has worked with all three in many capacities, as is the worst by a mile. Don’t get me wrong. They are all very bad, but Azure is the king of shit.

The concept of a large organization doesn’t even make sense in this model. How do you make decisions? How do you coordinate? What is Google when you have 50,000 individual silos?
We can walk and chew gum at the same time, the government can regulate thousands or millions of different types of things at the same time. It doesn’t make sense to say there’s stuff on the Internet that is worse therefore we cannot it should not do anything about it.
That’s not an explanation or an excuse at all.
Re:Hollywood Enters Oscars Weekend in Existential Crisis on Sunday March 15, 2026 @04:14PM (#47391381)
And what point of view does all art have now?
And which part of the things he said, would we find a counter argument to in the grass?
There’s basically no point of political discussion if you all agree, besides bitching and moaning.
