>Society has started to see sexual freedom and expression as grotesque

What's stopping people from changing it?
Almost all the world doesn't care about any of that when it comes to external behaviour.
There's incredible amount of misplaced belief on HN that every HN reader considers the US government friendly.
Balkanizing the internet sounds great, honestly.
I think the CLOUD Acts essentially make them proxies of the state.

Re:Supreme Court Overturns Roe vs. Wade on Friday June 24, 2022 @12:45PM (#31865375)
How did you even think there was one America?

Re:A religious sect landed Google in a lawsuit on Friday June 17, 2022 @12:22AM (#31774097)

Re:Why are nuclear power construction costs so high? on Friday June 10, 2022 @12:40AM (#31690112)
>handful of companies (like Boing and Airbus)

Re:Dashy – A self-hosted homepage for your homelab on Monday June 06, 2022 @09:52AM (#31640484)
I still use a custom self-designed startpage. Too bad FF killed support for them and the addon is miserable.
Banning sites based on politics is just as bad, don't be fooled.
>tyrannical government in the future. This seems nuts to almost everyone else in a first world country
