I think he meant NVIDIA is the winner in the end.

Don’t trust the news, especially now that AI is seen as part of US national security. We’re in a war, both financially and technologically.
Re:Intel stock collapse worsens as $3.5T chip rout spreads on Tuesday November 03, 2026 @02:20AM (#50349049)
Intel is so strategic company that I don't think US government will let it go down.
Re:Ask HN: Who is hiring? (November 2026) on Tuesday November 03, 2026 @02:11AM (#50349000)
Blockrotate | Senior Systems / Rust Engineer | Remote (US/EU timezones preferred) | Full-time | $130k - $170k + Equity

Blockrotate builds low-latency copy-trading and execution infrastructure for Polymarket and prediction markets.

Copy trading on prediction markets has strange market microstructure. Unlike deep perp DEXes (Binance, Hyperliquid), Polymarket orderbooks are bounded, often thin, and subject to severe adverse selection. When a high-volume leader buys, the book moves immediately. If followers lag by a few hundred milliseconds, or if a platform taxes every order with a 50bps fee, follower alpha drops to zero.

Most existing tools in this space either hit users with high per-trade taker fees or ask them to export and paste their master private key into a database. We took a different approach: isolated per-bot deposit wallets (non-custodial via EIP-1967/1271 proxies) and co-located autonomous Rust workers running delta-sync loops directly against the Polymarket CLOB.

Stack:

- Backend: Rust, Tokio, Axum, Protobuf over WebSockets, SQLite (WAL mode)

- Trading Engine: Custom Polymarket CLOB & Data API clients, EIP-712 signing, dynamic slippage ladders, momentum filters, circuit breakers

- Frontend: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS

What you’d actually work on:

- Squeezing latency out of the execution hot path (delta position calculation, order placement, nonce handling, fill verification).

- Building better execution protection: momentum filters to dodge toxic order flow, fill stabilization windows, and handling thin book liquidity without moving the market against yourself.

- Scaling worker orchestration: our C2 server talks Protobuf to distributed bot workers with monotonic sequence IDs and autonomous reconnect failover. As bot volume scales, we need to keep state reconciliation bulletproof.

- Investigating and exploiting prediction market quirks (rebate structures, orderbook snapshotting, MEV/relayer bottlenecks).

What we look for:

- Strong async Rust experience (Tokio, concurrency, practical memory management).

- Experience dealing with websockets, exchange orderbooks, or trading infrastructure

the liquidity is drying out.
Re:The $6.3B Binance Hack Was Pulled Off in Just 20 Minutes on Friday October 30, 2026 @10:35AM (#50304529)
yeah executed in 20minutes, how about planning phase ?
is it on web interface or antigravity ?
well, $GOOG is down 13%...
I have pro account and previous model "Argon" still not available on my account.
Re:StackOverflow now gets fewer than 1000 questions a month on Thursday October 29, 2026 @07:59AM (#50287601)
it's time to pivot.
It's more about mindset and they're doomed to fail.
what ? :D
Re:Google's Rust Style Guide on Thursday October 22, 2026 @03:49AM (#50192448)
As far as I know, someone outside Google rewrote the TypeScript compiler in a week in Rust, and according to the benchmarks, it’s better than the Go version. The same thing will happen here. There’s no time to wait for Google. Someone else will do it.
Re:Google's Rust Style Guide on Thursday October 22, 2026 @03:39AM (#50192386)
No, I mean Rust is the final nail in the coffin for C/C++ developers. In Darwinian terms, they’re a species that’s already hit its evolutionary peak and is now heading toward extinction.
Re:Google's Rust Style Guide on Thursday October 22, 2026 @03:26AM (#50192291)
Assembly, C, and C++ all fall into the unsafe category. They don’t offer the same memory-safety and concurrency checks Rust does when AI-generated code gets things wrong. Sorry, but this industry is more competitive than ever, and it’s starting to look like there’s no room for amateurs.
Re:Google's Rust Style Guide on Thursday October 22, 2026 @03:10AM (#50192168)
It's just a matter of time.
Re:Google's Rust Style Guide on Thursday October 22, 2026 @02:59AM (#50192095)
We’re at a point where you can build anything in any language, and Rust is eating everything because its strict guarantees help cover the weaknesses of AI-assisted development.
Re:Google's Rust Style Guide on Wednesday October 21, 2026 @11:56PM (#50191009)
Rust is eating C/C++.
You don’t need to be a math wizard. Just upload the paper to an AI and ask, “Explain this like I’m five.” Then, with each follow-up prompt, increase the age and level of expertise you want it to assume.
Re:Voxtral 3 on Wednesday October 21, 2026 @02:51AM (#50176975)
comparing to which countries ? Like Sudan or Chad ?
Re:How I got over 300 Tor exit nodes removed on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @12:09PM (#50168521)
thank you, you saved the whole world.
Good luck with the launch!

Quick question: do you personally understand the Rust code in your project, or was the whole thing AI-assisted ?

Re:DeepSeek just open-sourced its inference engine on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @06:53AM (#50164285)
They open source it because they don't need it anymore. Probably they are doing something better with Huawei
never seen anyone using Mistral's models.
bro, EU is dead already.
hey,

I didn't get your point, how would you do design our usage records then ?

I've spent a lot of time building datamint.xyz, and dealing with user agents, datacenter IPs, and VPNs gets pretty tricky. What works right now is a fork of the latest Firefox with anti-fingerprinting patches, paired with a high-quality residential proxy network with clean IPs. Even the basic setup needs 11+ code-level patches, and there are still a few edge cases, but this setup should cover 99% of cases.
you can bypass those easily except Google Captcha v3, you need to have your own proxy swarm to make it at scale.

We're in a crisis
then why do you think there're attacks on starlink's base stations ?
